Hi Stacie, We’re genuinely sorry your experience didn’t meet your expectations. Hosting meaningful family gatherings like yours is something we care deeply about, and it’s disappointing to hear we fell short in your eyes. To clarify for future guests: ✔️ Our listing clearly notes that pool and hot tub heating are optional and not included by default. When you expressed concern, we activated the pool heater at no charge in an effort to help. ✔️ Unfortunately, an unseasonably cold weather pattern in the days leading up to your arrival caused the pool temperature to drop significantly. Even with the heater on, it takes time to recover — especially in early spring conditions. ✔️ The yard has since been serviced, and we’ve replaced the bocce set and added extra kitchen tools, including a new can opener, to improve the guest experience. We always strive to respond quickly to guest needs and maintain a respectful dialogue. When communication became inappropriate, we made the difficult decision to step back, in line with VRBO’s standards for host-guest interactions.
