Island Dream ist mit Abstand eines der schönsten und größten Strandhäuser auf Dauphin Island.

Dies ist ein großes (4500 sq ft) neu renoviertes 6 Schlafzimmer, 4 1/2 Bäder auf einem übergroßen Grundstück mit Bay-Front, eigenem Sandstrand, Pool und Whirlpool mit Blick auf die Bucht im Norden und teilweise Blick auf den Golf nach Süden. Der Pool ist auf Anfrage gegen eine zusätzliche Gebühr beheizt. Dies ist ein wunderbares Zuhause für Familientreffen oder für eine große Gruppe.

Dieses fabelhafte Haus verfügt über eine Wohnküche, einen formellen Speisesaal für bis zu 16 Personen und einen schönen Blick auf den Golf von Mexiko und den MS Sound.

Island Dream wurde dieses Jahr umfassend renoviert, mit allen neuen Möbeln und komplett renoviert. Es gibt auch einen Spaziergang durch die Dünen, der sich zum Strand der Heimatbucht hin erstreckt, mit einem Pavillon und Bänken, um sich zu entspannen und die großartige Aussicht zu genießen!

House layout was perfect for 2 familys. Easy access to the beaches and pool was a hit when people didn't want to go far. Main room was excellent for group games. Double counters made laying out snacks for grazing a breeze.

Home was in great location with so much potential. Great amount of space for a large gathering. Spent thanksgiving with family here and we enjoyed it. The biggest negative with this property was the cleanliness and repairs that are needed. The home was not properly cleaned for our arrival, dirty floors, some rooms sheets were dirty, rugs had not been swept/shaken out (full of sand), toilets dirty. There are loose boards on the front porch rails, nails sticking out. The hot tub does not work (empty and dirty) which is one of the main reasons we booked this specific home, knowing we’d have colder weather. Overall, we loved the home but the negatives outweighed the positives. I’d wish to come back one day and see there to be more effort in maintaining the property.

Great Stay

This was a beautiful home and a wonderful place to stay. Each bedroom was well put together most with their own bathroom which was great for our family! The location is superb and having access to our own little section of beach was wonderful. We could of spent our entire stay just at the property and had plenty to do if we wanted. Highly recommend and plan to return in the future!

Another excellent stay at Tidal Wave! Every type of water our group could want, easily accessible—pool, lagoon, bay beach, gulf beach. Several spacious rooms to retreat to, as well as places to gather. The giant sectional is the stuff of legends. The addition of a second fridge this year made keeping our forever hungry and thirsty kids happy a breeze. Looking forward to our next visit!

Spacious and close to the beach and the bay

We enjoyed our stay! We had 4 families with children and my mom and we had plenty of room to hang out and spread out. The heated pool and hot tub were perfect for the kids and late night swims. We enjoyed how close we were to the beach and the bay... a quick walk across the street to the beach. The area was quiet and serene and the stay exceeded our expectations.

It was a wonderful home away for our family. Plenty of room for us all. The kitchen had everything we needed. LOVED the 2 washers & dryers! Dave was there when we needed him. We spent lots of time in the pool and hot tub. The ocean views were beautiful. The area is well worth visiting..

Perfect Choose Your Own Adventure Launchpad

I cannot imagine a better spot for a large group with varied interests and abilities! It was just as easy to cozy up and enjoy the view with the infants, as it was to splash in the gentle bay and chase hermit crabs with the toddlers, fish in the lagoon with the teens, or splash in the pool with the tweens. There are enough rooms for everyone to have a quiet home base, and the common areas are spacious and inviting for everyone to gather and have the BEST time. We could not have enjoyed our stay more!

Spring Break!

We loved this house! The size was perfect for our large group. The heated pool and hot tub were awesome and views off the decks were amazing. There was so much space and the kitchen was stocked with plenty of dishes and silverware. Having two washers and dryers was perfect! When we had an issue with the hot tub the property communicated promptly and Dave came over and fixed it right away! He was great☺ We will definitely be back!

Beautiful Location- Relaxing Stay

The house is very spacious with lots of comfortable areas to relax in. The kitchen was very nice as it was in "cook ready shape." We made dinner every night since the kitchen had the tools to be able to accomplish that. The view and the secluded nature of the house was also wonderful. There are minor cosmetic updates that need tending to (the pool deck and pool itself as well as the laundry room area), however overall the home is very welcoming and comfortable. The onsite property mgmr was awesome!! Super accommodating of our group needs. We will definitely be back in the future!!

Beautiful

The house was perfect for are large group. The kitchen was stocked with all the essential tools fir cooking. There is a huge pantry for dry goods as well as a grill. The kids and adults loved the pool. The house is on the bayside, your able to walk out a good distance and still be able to touch. The manager was very nice and stayed in touch to answer any questions. Huge living room great for movie nights. Tons of seating in the dining areas. Rooms are very nice with plenty of beds for a large group.

Friends and family getaway

We had a great time at the house. It's big enough to accommodate everyone. Only downside was the jets not working in the hot tub and the pool not being heated until 2 days into our trip. (that was my fault partly as I thought it was heated until may). Anyways the location was great, we saw dolphins playing while we sat on the deck. The house was clean and they answered any and all calls and questions right away. If I can afford it I will be back. Absolutely beautiful

A great house for a family gathering!!

We loved coming to the west end of Dauphin Island. We were amazed that the property was in such great shape after all of the hurricanes/storms this past season. Our family loved the pool and the first two days the pool was heated and everyone had so much fun. Even though the boardwalk had been damaged by the hurricane, we enjoyed trekking out to both sides of the island, looking for seashells and enjoying the beauty of the water. The kitchen was wonderful, we had plenty of seating and dishes and utensils. When we asked for a toaster, we received it. The internet did not work well, it could have been from the storms. The house could use a really good scrubbing and windexing to get ready for the new year. We loved the space, the location, and the overall ambiance!! Thanks, Dauphin Island Rentals!!

Has Potential

Clean, easy access, comfy beds, quick response, great home layout. Plenty of room for our family of 14. But this home needs some love. Water spots/mold on ceilings on both floors, decking has some pretty weak areas and chipping paint, some doors to outside don’t lock others won’t unlock some don’t shut. Closet door and cabinet door falling/fell off. Pool/hot tub leak to wear hose has to stay in/running. And with pictures it looks like front is on the ocean/beach and back on bay. You technically have to walk down drive across street to a beach access. Just needs some love to be at the price point that it is. We understand things aren’t going to be perfect, but as our family with 8 adults have stayed in a lot of vacation rentals this one just wasn’t up to par.

Very Nice House

Overall the house and experience was Great. I will say the island isn't layed out the best, house are just put up where ever they fit. No rhyme or reason to where houses are. The house is clean and spacious, the beds are comfortable. We cooked almost every meal and there was acquit cooking utensils and plates/cups. House sits with a deck to the water, with the rear of the house facing Mobile. We had a group of 11 total with 4 being kids and 2 of them under 2. We stayed in February 2018. We choose not to heat the pool, as we were uncertain as to how well the pool would stay heated. We had delightful weather. Sunny and 65 most days. The hot tub was not functional when we arrived, as they had lots of rain prior to our arrival, which lead to the circuit breaker for the hot tub to trip. I called up our contact and they had someone over promptly to get it on. It did take a bit to warm up, about 8 hours. The only hiccups we had were this. Power loss and Gas for grill running out. The power outage was due to the power company having to do updates to their system, and was out of the rentals control. We were notified and were able to make plans accordingly. The gas for the grill ran out the first day we grilled. We went and refilled the tank.
