Located on the popular south coast of the island across from the Hastings Beach is Maple Gardens, a condominium complex with lovely gardens and a communal swimming pool. Maple Gardens is centrally located within walking distance of shops, restaurants and amenities.

Designed for 2-4 persons, this chic apartment offers sea views of Hastings beach and is located on the first floor. Modernly furnished in cool blues and warm tones, you feel right at home in this cozy and fresh apartment. It has 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and a private laundry room with washer and dryer. As you walk into the open plan layout of the apartment, the living/ TV room is tastefully designed which opens onto the patio with views of the beach. The master bedroom is an en-suite with a master bathroom and the second bedroom has a separate bathroom.

Maple Gardens is in an ideal location across from the Hastings Boardwalk, a popular spot where locals and tourists come to enjoy a peaceful walk or a morning run. Also located on the boardwalk is Blakeys, a well-known beach restaurant and bar.

To help us keep the furnishings in great condition for everyone, we kindly ask that guests avoid lying on sofas or beds while wearing sunscreen, and please refrain from using the towels to remove sunscreen from your skin.

Great location, nice views from the balcony, good WiFi. Pool is good but lacking lounges, there is a couple Adirondack chairs for use. Lots of towels and bed linens, could use more kitchen linens. Good assortment of dishes, glassware and cooking utensils. Stove top needed to be cleaner (under the element rings) which I discovered after wiping down the appliance after use. Microwave needs to be addressed as it quickly overheats when reheating food for any length of time. Patio bamboo blinds have seen better days and need to be replaced. Strings were broken and we jury rigged it for use during our stay. Property manager was informed about the blinds and microwave issues. Disappointed there was not a true drip coffee maker when we arrived - only a Nespresso small pod machine or a 2 cup French Press. Not ideal for 4 guests. Was able to purchase a used one from a fellow Canadian on the Canadians in Barbados FB page and then pay it forward to other friends here.
A small group of monkeys visited a couple times in the early morning.
The Banaquits were busy singing and nest building in the avocado tree off the balcony.
Highly recommend!

This apartment suits young adults and older children which is located on the first floor with no elevator. Guests can enjoy the use of the pool at their own risk as there is no pool attendant.

We are right across the road from the beach and the boardwalk where you can go for a lesurley stroll on an afternoon or an early morning jog. We have restaurants, KFC, a shopping plaza with food court and nightlife all within a few minutes walk.

There are several beaches and a great surf spot within 10 minutes walk and Bridgetown is 20 minutes walk at 8 minutes by car.
