Fantastic cabin with a beautiful view of the water. Very convenient location for a number of the other good fishing lakes in the area. Would highly recommend this cabin, and working with this host, if planning a trip to the area.

Jonathan was a great host. The property was as described and has amazing views. The lake is awesome and not busy. We fished and swam every day. The nearby boat landing was very convenient. We would definitely return. Jonathan has an amazing place.

Moms' weekend Getaway.

The property was wonderful. The owner was very nice and friendly. We loved the views of the lake with the snow. The only disappointing part was that the fireplace was not functional. We chose this property specifically for the lake view and the cozy feel of the heat flames from the fireplace.

Peaceful Paradise

Our stay at Lake Cottage on Sand Lake was wonderful! My husband & I enjoyed celebrating our 45th Wedding Anniversary at this special, tranquil and peaceful waterfront Cabin. We appreciated and are grateful to Jon for checking in on us, and ensuring that we had the best possible time at our stay on Sand Lake.

Beautiful view

Very nice , small home on a beautiful lake.Boat dock was very nice. The deck overlooking the lake was wonderful. The kids had fun fishing from the dock, and getting in a canoe ride. The property sits down hill from the parking area and it’s quite a steep hill to trudge up with all your belongings. Older folks won’t appreciate that.

Cozy, inviting lake house

We will definitely be back to this quaint lake house! The view is breathtaking and the pictures don’t give it justice! Jonathan is very friendly and accommodating. Not all hosts I have dealt with are like this. The sound system on the deck and Traeger grill were an added bonus to the beautiful outside area. Hoping to make this a yearly trip!

Reasonable for the price

We stayed here a year agoLOVE that it is RIGHT ON the LAKE!!! There aren’t too many places we’ve found directly on the lake.They have an awesome 4th of July celebration on the lake.I let Jonathan know that a few things needed to be cleaner. We also recommended the screen doors needed to be cleaned / changed. Jonathan completely agreed and said he would do that.We missed the kayaks but found out someone had broken them.Jonathan was ON it and within 24 hours had replaced them.Local bars are great! Go to max’s! Don’t let the outside of Kings deter you from entering.Jonathan is a GREAT host!!

Will Definitely Be Back

This is a quaint little cottage on Sand Lake in Wisconsin. About a 2 hour drive from the Twin Cities. We stayed here for 5 nights; over the 4th of July holiday weekend. Jonathan, the host, did an excellent job answering all of my questions and he responded very quickly. The cottage was very clean and decorated nicely. Ceiling fans in every room, which is a huge plus. You can’t beat the view. Steps lead down to the lake. In front of the large retaining wall is a grassy knoll for hanging out, room to play frisbee, etc. The lake has a pontoon parade on the 4th which was super cool to see! We at once at Max’s on the Lake. Cute little bar and grill not too far away. We also drive into Bloomer Wisconsin and played 18 holes at the Bloomer Memorial golf course. Nice, relaxing stay. Will definitely be back!
