You are one of the few guests to mention the size of The Loft in their review. Plenty of room to spread out and enjoy. Far more square footage than most guest expect! And thanks for mentioning the decor. My wife and daughter-in-law have spent hours making it the homeiest place they possibly could. Everyone just loves it. We've even added two very comfortable rocker recliners which so many guests enjoy. Looking forward to hosting you again. Safe travels!

The loft was very comfortable, and the amenities were in very good condition. The Duluth aquarium (which is very close by) was a great place to take the kids. And Canal Park in general is full of interesting shops. We would definitely stay here again.

So glad to hear you felt the Loft was very comfortable! We strive to make it feel like your home away from home. We have many extra amenities, that other host would not. We don't want anything missing that our guest would need during their stay. My grandkids absolutely love the Duluth Aquarium. (Walking distance. )They'd hang out there for hours if you'd let them. Lol. And you're absolutely right. Everyone loves Canal Park, because it has everything you need ... from shops, restaurants, bars, activities, site-seeing, and just places to hang out. All within a three or four minute walk from our front door! Please come back and stay with us again soon. We really appreciate you!

We had 5 guys for our annual UMD hockey weekend. The property was perfect as we each had our own bed. The room was clean and had plenty of space. It really is in the heart of everything.

Plenty of restaurants in walking distance. Safe area with many people walking to the shops and restaurants. Very clean and well stocked. We only made breakfast. Easy to explore the North Shore from here!

Thanks for the great review! Canal Park is extremely safe, with police present constantly. Plus our building has its own security. And our family loves all the different restaurants, bars, ice cream shops, and fast food restaurants so close. Our personal favorite is Old Chicago Pizza, which is actually attached to our building. In inclement weather, you don't even have to go outside. We love it! Please come back soon! Duluth and all of its fun awaits you again.

Great location and amazing property perfect for family weekend getaway! Stayed with family of 6 and everything was within walking distance. Very cleanly rooms, fun bunk bed style setup and great communication from host. Condo setup with pool hotel access was a major hit!

Thanks for mentioning the fun bunk beds in your review. We have had so many people comment on them through the years. My wife found this amazing setup on Pinterest, and her brother, who's an amazing carpenter and cabinet maker, built them himself! Kids can't get enough of the bunk beds. Neither can my grandkids. Plus there's a fireplace right in that room. It's so fun. And you're absolutely right. All of our guests can use the indoor heated pool, the jacuzzi, the kids pool, the sauna and the Fitness Room free of charge! And for a small fee, you can even eat breakfast with the other Hotel guests. Lol. We are looking forward to hosting you again. Thanks again for the review.

The views around Canal Park and Park Point are unbelievable! A 5-minute walk brings you to the Lift Bridge, where you can watch 1,000 ft long ocean going ships sail 10 ft of it away from you. My 4-year-old grandson is fascinated watching the Lift Bridge go up and down. A 3 minute walk to the beach let's you look out over 10 miles into Lake Superior! We appreciate you trusting your vacation to us. Please come and stay at the Loft again soon.

Excellent weekend getaway

One of the nicest places I've stayed. Great location, right in the heart of Canal Park. Awesome layout with super cool architecture and huge exposed beams. Perfectly clean with all the amenities we needed. We will definitely be staying here again next year!

Family Vacation

We booked this trip knowing we had both aging parents and teenage children to please. This place not only fit all of us nicely but the location was outstanding. Plenty of entertainment, shopping and restaurants within walking distance. Owners were attentive and pleasant to work with! Highly recommend staying here!

Great location in canal park

Overall great place to stay with family. Plenty of space for everyone. Only issue was the thermostat was set to turn the a/c off during the day so we woke up to a hot morning.

Jeanette, let me start off by sharing with you that we in no way would ever set a thermostat to turn the air conditioning off at night ever! We want our guests to be in total control of how warm or cool it is in the Loft. That is our highest priority. I profusely apologize that some guest set the thermostat to do something we did not authorize it to do. We had that thermostat professionally installed by an HVAC company. We'll have our maintenance man look at it right away! Thanks so much for staying with us. We appreciate it.

Location & so family friendly

Do yourself a favor and just book this place! My family & I stayed a couple of nights and my four year old son cried the whole way home because we had to leave! This place is spotless, perfect for families, communication was immediate & we already rebooked for end of August. The kids [4 & 6] absolutely loved the bunk beds; we had tons of space for slow mornings to play, eat breakfast & the location was right in the heart of everything. Thank you so much for providing such a great rental for our family trip!

Plus there's a jacuzzi, my favorite, a workout room and a laundry room! Plus ... wait for it ... the hotel is connected to Old Chicago Pizza restaurant! Our favorite pizza place in the entire world! You don't even have to walk outside to get there. My son and I absolutely love the pizza, pasta, and cheesy bread. (It's kind of like we died and went to heaven. Lol!) Winter lights

We had a wonderful stay in Duluth. This was the perfect location. Parked the car upon arrival and were able to walk everywhere. Shops, restaurants, Bentleyvile and Lake Superior. Peter was quick to respond and super helpful. The accommodations exceeded our expectations.Thank you!

Joyce, as my two kids keep reminding me, real estate is all about "Location, Location, Location!" They should know, they're both real estate agents. Lol. When we discovered this amazing Loft was on the market, we jumped at the chance to buy it. We had to outbid several other buyers, but it has been so worth it! It has rented more often than we ever projected, even in our wildest dreams. Thank God! So many people tell us that the location could not be better. It's literally the best location in Canal Park to stay overnight! Park your car in our free parking lot, and most likely you won't have to start it again until you're headed home. Please come back and visit us again real soon! Repeat guests mean the world to us, because this property is so new. Safe travels!

Great accommodations in a great location

My wife and I stayed for two nights with our 5 and 2 yo and then had another adult and his 8yo son join us. The property was perfect for all of us, plenty of room to hang out. We enjoyed the swimming pool on the main level which wasn't busy at all. A big draw was the location and it didn't disappoint as we were able to walk everywhere for food, scenery, and attractions including the aquarium which was a big hit for the kids. Thanks for making this property available to us, we'll surely be back.

Paul, wow! Great review. Thanks for noticing how big the space is. It literally is one of the largest Suites in that entire building! And the swimming pool is always a hit! Especially for kids. They just love the water. With the jacuzzi, a children's pool, and a large pool, there's literally three pools to spread out in! And often it's not busy at all. And thanks for mentioning the Duluth aquarium, which is usually within walking distance! My grandkids, ages 2 and 4, can't get enough of that place. And we're excited to take them to the Train Museum, also just a few blocks away, when they get a little older. They can literally go for a train ride.
