Willkommen in der größten Ferienwohnung am Meer in Newport Beach für Wochen- und Nachtvermietung! Dieser einzigartige 3500 Quadratfuß Herrenhaus wurde 1931 erbaut und vor weniger als 5 Jahren komplett umgebaut. Dies ist ein one of a kind Meer Eigentum der Balboa Pier liegt östlich! Es gibt 6 Schlafzimmer, 6 Badezimmer in den 3-stöckigen Hauptgebäuden. Das 7. Schlafzimmer ist eine Casita, die sich links vom Garagenplatz befindet. Es gibt 2 Badezimmer und 2 Schlafzimmer im Erdgeschoss. Die zweite Geschichte hat 3 Badezimmer und 3 Schlafzimmer. Es gibt auch 1 Schlafzimmer mit einem kleinen angeschlossenen Zimmer mit Bad, das für Kinderbetten oder Stifte genutzt werden kann. Die dritte Geschichte ist ein Krähennest-Schlafzimmer mit einem 360-Grad-Blick auf den Hafen, den Pier und das Meer!

Das geräumige Schlafzimmer verfügt über ein Kingsize-Bett mit außergewöhnlichen Blick auf das Meer, Marmorbad, geräumigen begehbaren Kleiderschrank, Flachbild-TV, Sitzecke mit einem Sofa und eine kleine Küchenzeile (nicht funktional) ideal für die Zubereitung von Kaffee. Ein großer Raum im Erdgeschoss grenzt an die Sonne, Esszimmer und Wohnzimmer. Das Sonnenzimmer blickt auf den Ozean, wo Sie sitzen und den Blick auf den Strand, Catalina Island und die wunderschönen Sonnenuntergänge genießen können. Das Esszimmer hat einen Tisch für 8 Personen mit einem zusätzlichen Klapptisch und Stühlen für 6 Personen im Flur Schrank für größere Gruppen. Die Küche ist mit Edelstahl Viking Geräte, Granit, European 2 Schublade Geschirrspüler, eine Doppelwaschtisch, eine große begehbare Speisekammer und viel Ablagefläche für die Zubereitung von Speisen. Die Terrasse direkt am Meer hat eine Reihe von Liegestühlen und eine überdachte Cabana mit einem L-förmigen Sofa, ideal für hängen mit Familie und geben Schatten an einem sonnigen Tag. Es gibt einen extra großen Innenhof auf der Rückseite des Hauses (25x28 oder 700 qm) mit Picknicktischen, Sonnenschirmen, einem Gasgrill und einer Außendusche. Es gibt eine Waschküche für Gäste, die sich im Innenhof befindet, direkt auf der rechten Seite der Garage.

There were so many good things about our stay. There were a few issues.Upstairs 3rd floor drywall was a disaster and bugs were in this room. Our child was bit during her sleep and the bugs were in and around the bed where the drywall was exposed also opening in the wall with paint chipping and plaster. Has this been tested for asbestos? We need this confirmed. Plumbing backed up continually. Flys everywhere on the patios and then in the house. Outdoor fire pit not working. No air in the Casita. I have pics of the bites and bugs and drywall.

Location is amazing and size of the home incredible. Tons of space to spread out, plenty of parking and great bedroom layouts. The home is a bit dated and could definitely use some new cushions on the patio and a few upgrades, but overall great stay! Management company was extremely helpful, responsive, and amazing to work with.

Great location. Nearby bicycle rentals, restaurants and electric boat rentals. Surfing at Blackies beach just north of Newport pier 1.5 miles from home. Comfortable for our large group. The air conditioner worked for us (keep windows and doors closed when A/C is on.)

Great location as the backyard has direct access to the beach. However, this place had an extremely strong odor when we first walked in. The light in one of the bathrooms did not work. One of the bed frames was broken on the third floor and one of our kids almost fell. Overall it is a very worn down place that needs renovation. When you check out, they ask you to remove some of the items on the beds and towels and leave them on the floor by the doors, which I don’t understand why because we had to pay all these fees. If you have a big family and you stay on the first floor, you’ll hear all the footsteps which makes it hard to sleep if you’re a light sleeper.

Fun at the beach

Enjoyed the property and location immensely. Was able to have all the family stay there. While the house was a bit dated, it was fun and quirky. Loved the vibe.

Great family house!

This is probably one of the most well stocked and appointed vacation rentals I’ve stayed in. The kitchen has everything you will need to cook and feed a large family, the bathrooms all were stocked with soap and shampoo and plenty of toilet paper, the bedrooms are comfortable, plenty of extra pillows and blankets, there is a bathroom for every bedroom. And the back patio between the house, and the garage is a great spot to play spikes, and beach, chairs, and things you don’t want to leave on the front patio. There is parking for five vehicles, which is also unusual in this location, and it is far enough away from all the beach crowds, but still close to the Piers and the fun zone. We had a great day, and I would highly recommend it.

Very happy with the accommodations. Right on the beach, easy To locate, off street parking, nice house with bedrooms and bathrooms to accommodate 6-8 couples. Walking distance to the pier, shopping, eateries, bars. Definitely worth a look for your next vacation stay at the beach.

DO NOT RENT THIS HOUSE

This house should not be occupied due to extreme building code non-compliance! The CA Building Code, Chapter 10 - Means of Egress requires that an exit be provided from every sleeping room. The Master Bedroom does not have an operable window that meets the requirements of the CBC. There is a French door that would provide for the code’s requirements, but it is locked by a deadbolt that does not allow for it to be opened. When I called the manager to ask them to come and unlock the door, the told me that the Owner would not allow them to due to an issue with the deck directly outside of the door. So I guess they’ve decided that occupant safety is not important enough to spend the money on repairs. Additionally, without an openable window or door equal to 10% of the floor area of the room, or 25 sq. ft. the room does not have the required amount of natural ventilation; see CBC section 504 for light and ventilation.

Best house for a family reunion

There were several spots in the house and outside where we could all meet together! We happened to arrive during the worst heatwave and a tropical storm so the weather was not in our favor. The house has air conditioning which was essential. The only cons was that the air went out on the first floor only and we found the kitchen small for the amount of people. We will definitely plan another vacation and can’t wait to get back to the beach in this home!!!

We were underwhelmed with this property

Let me first say that our Newport vacation was a lot of fun. The location of this home was good, right in the boardwalk. The ocean waves at this location are very big. Our older grandkids had fun in the waves but they were too rough for anyone younger or actually older….This is touted as the largest home on the boardwalk but on our walks we found many other Newport rentals that were as big and much newer and nicer than ours. The home is very old. The kitchen is small and the refrigerator didn’t work well enough. There is no air conditioning and fans were provided which made it very loud. Not enough towels for our group so we were doing laundry daily. Maybe if this had been less expensive to rent I would not write a negative review but it was very pricey. We talked to others on the boardwalk who rented for less.

A vacation at Balboa.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home is fine for a large family vacation. The only strange situation is the owners reluctance to provide more ventilation in the master bedroom. The master suite is very large and comfortable with nice views. However this is only one small window that opens in the bedroom. There is another small window above the toilet. In the owners defense, the room does have air conditioning but I personally would prefer to enjoy the cool ocean breezes while I’m at the beach instead of refrigerated air. Isn’t that the reason we choose a holiday at the beach?Dealing with the rental agency was wonderful. Everyone was accommodating and professional. A special shout out to Vicky, Lindsey, and Aaron for their help.
