Kaley thank you so much for the review. Unfortunately, you looked at the picture of the neighbors boardwalk, and assumed that it was for our house. Which was never in our listing. I’m glad that you enjoyed the home and yes, the beach walk is only two blocks. It’s only a five minute walk it’s very easy and the crossing street the pedestrians have the right away so the cars do stop for you to walk across the street.:) And yes we are very close only 2 min drive to all the shops and restaurants and activities in Emerald Isle:) And thank you for staying with us. We truly appreciate it and we are looking forward to your return since you enjoyed the home so much:)

Trevor thanks so much for the review with all the wonderful compliments and the info on the home which is all true except unfortunately the info about the AC which is not true and it’s unfortunate that you had to embellish about the AC issue which was really only caused by your group. We have not had any AC issues and we actually were told by you Trevor that you froze the unit meaning you did put it extremely low lower then you are stating and the issue was caused by doing so. We actually did have an Hvac Company come out with an hour of you telling us and they only charged us a service call because there was nothing wrong with the unit and it was due to your user error. There was nothing ever said about the filters except that the one needed to be put back in. And that they were dirty, but not to the extent that you’re saying, and they had been changed two weeks prior. The one was taken out to change and was forgotten to be put in, which is a mistake on our part and our team prior to your arrival. We definitely felt awful about the situation and rectified immediately as it does state in your review so Thank you for that. And we actually extended the check out for you because you were up enjoying your time late, but blamed it on not having cool air when as soon as the portable units went in and by that time the air-conditioning was already back on in the house, it cooled down in minutes as my husband was the one who came. Moving forward, we will not be accepting anyone on a holiday due to the fact that you were continually begging to get in early when you booked the house knowing that you had a check-in at 4 o’clock. We accommodated you for an early check-in even on a holiday , and we went over and above. And we would suggest that you don’t put air conditioning units below 67° as they will freeze and obviously you have learned that. But please do not try to tell people that our air conditioning does not work when it actually does work fine.
