We’re glad the location worked so well for your family and that you were able to enjoy the nearby beaches and attractions while still having a quiet place to come back to. We intentionally offer this home with more basic amenities so we can keep the nightly rate lower than many other vacation rentals in the area. We offer short-term rentals in many different price and amenity ranges, from more basic, budget-friendly homes like this one all the way up to higher-end properties with additional amenities. Our goal with this particular home is to provide a clean, comfortable, well-maintained place in a great location at an affordable price for families visiting the Keweenaw. We appreciate your comments regarding the lower clearances, basement stairs, shower height, and kitchen supplies. Some of those items are simply part of the design and age of the home, especially for taller guests, but your feedback regarding the kitchen utensils, coffee maker, and additional prep items is helpful as we continue looking for simple ways to improve the property while still keeping it affordable.
