The Space:

Our cabin, The Greenbrier, is crafted from large, rugged, and beautifully irregular logs, evoking the charm of a classic backcountry cabin out west. While rustic at heart, it’s been thoughtfully outfitted with all the comforts of home. With a striking stone-and-log fireplace and breathtaking views, it’s the perfect setting for an unforgettable Smoky Mountains getaway.

Two swimming pools are available in Mountain Shadows Resort for guest use from May 1st to October 1st.

We are happy to accommodate guests with smaller dogs. We allow one dog up to 30 lbs. for an additional fee. We are unable to make exceptions to the number of and maximum weight limit.

Guest Access:
You will have full access to the entire cabin during your stay, except for a locked closet in the bathroom where supplies are stored. Keyless entry makes check in and checkout a breeze. Prior to check in, you will receive a pre-arrival message containing important check in information, including directions and an access code for the electronic deadbolt.

The Neighborhood:
The cabin is located in the highly convenient and well-rated log cabin community of Mountain Shadows Resort. The resort offers a quintessential Smoky Mountain experience while still being close to town. During the summer months, enjoy one of the two outdoor swimming pools within the community.

Other Things to Note:
Our full set of policies can be found lower on the page, but here are a few important ones:
▪ Please provide the first and last names of all guests when submitting a booking, plus tell us a little something about your stay and what brings you to the area. We are careful about who we rent to and like to get to know our guests.
▪ All guests must be 25 years of age or older unless accompanied by a parent or guardian (we check this when in doubt).
▪ Check in is 4pm or later, checkout is by 10am.
▪ No smoking inside or out.
▪ One dog up to 30 pounds is allowed for a $75 length of stay fee.

Interaction with Guests:
We live two hours from the cabin in western NC and will be your point of contact up to and throughout your stay. We share with booked guests our best contact number for calling and messaging, as well as a contact number for our local cleaners in case of an emergency.

A digital guest manual/area guidebook will be shared with booked guests before arrival. It provides information about amenities, important phone numbers, checkout procedures, etc., along with an in-depth guide and recommendations to area dining, shopping, activities & more! No app needed.
