Diese authentische handgefertigte BlockhĂŒtte mit 1 Schlafzimmer ist die perfekte Flitterwochenerfahrung fĂŒr Paare, die sich fĂŒr einen intimen Kurzurlaub in die Berge zurĂŒckziehen möchten.

Das auffĂ€lligste Merkmal ist die rustikale GrenzatmosphĂ€re, die dieses Haus schafft. Das Wohnzimmer verfĂŒgt ĂŒber einen Plasma-32-Zoll-Fernseher / DVD / Videorecorder und komfortable Möbel sowie einen Kamin aus Bergstein aus dem Park. Dieses Haus ist einzigartig gestaltet, so dass der Holzkamin in die Wand eingebaut ist, die das Wohnzimmer vom Schlafzimmer trennt. Das Ergebnis ist, dass sich der Kamin zu beiden Bereichen hin öffnet und in beiden RĂ€umen eine intime AtmosphĂ€re schafft.

Das Schlafzimmer verfĂŒgt ĂŒber ein Kingsize-Bett mit einem schmiedeeisernen Bettgestell und einen zweiten Plasma-32-Zoll-Fernseher. Es öffnet sich zum Whirlpoolraum, der nach allen Seiten mit Fenstern versehen ist und die bewaldete Abgeschiedenheit der Umgebung ĂŒberblickt. We found the cabin in good shape. Very clean. I would like to see the bed and bathroom linens upgraded. Our stay was all about the bears! We enjoyed seeing them everyday during our stay. We would stay here again.

50 and fabulous.

Cody was absolutely on call while we were there to answer and questions, suggestions on places to go, the cabin is a must that I will do again with my husband. The convenience is underestimated... you could easily ride a bike to anakeesta and the sky bridge. Blake Shelton bar is fabulous and see Tara and tell her Rebecca sent you. Literally had an epic trip and this cabin has made so many fantastic memories that will last me a lifetime. My only regret, I didn't write in the guest book. I will next time.

Horrible Honeymoon stay

My husband and I stayed in this cabin for our honeymoon and were very disappointed . I messaged the the host days before and didn’t hear anything until I started asking questions about the cabin such as if there was firewood and about the tv as it was only showing no single the entire time we stayed. We tried to get in the hot tub but the chlorine was so bad when you turned on the jets it burned your eyes so bad you couldn’t stand it so we couldn’t use it. Also there were tiny pieces of chlorine sticking to to our skin which made you itch!!. The bathtub had hair in it!! Also the couch was absolutely destroyed on the back and had been covered up with a throw blanket so you wouldn’t know until going to use the blanket!

Perfect Couples Cabin

We loved this little cabin so much for our wedding weekend! We were able to bring our lab with us and he felt very comfortable there too. We did see bears every day, which was awesome! We were very sure to give them their space and they seemed pretty unbothered by us and our dog. With it being a pet friendly cabin, I was surprised that the place is probably the cleanest VRBO we’ve ever stayed in. We’re so happy with our choice to come here for the most memorable weekend! Great little cabin for a quiet getaway

This is a cute little cabin not very far from town but far enough to feel quiet and secluded. Everything is nice and clean. We got to watch bears almost every day that we were there. One morning an owl came and perched on a tree branch right by the back porch while we sat outside and had our coffee. We ended up being here while there was a car show in town called slammed enough.. I wouldn’t recommend being here at the same time as this event as the traffic was terrible and it took 30 minutes to go 2-3 miles in town. The best part of this area is being able to drive up in the mountains and see the amazing views. I would love to come back here someday.

Awesome is an understatement!

Our stay was beyond awesome! 8 mins from downtown Gatlinburg
 this is my second time staying in Tennessee and this topped it all! Being able to see the bears at any time during the day around the cabin was simply stunning. We seen a bear or two around the area every day! I highly recommend husband and wife getaway! Not big family friendly!

Peaceful and nature filled! 2 Minute drive down the mountain straight into the center of Gatlinburg!

Looking for an honest review? Be prepared for a lengthy review! We had an amazing time staying here. This spot is secluded and on a dead end road so hardly see any vehicles pass because it’s a dead end road. This might also be a big contributor as to why we saw black bears everyyy day of our 7 day stay except our last day but we also had to leave at 10 am. We had our first encounter within our first 15 minutes of arrival and it was a momma bear with 3 cubs which we concluded must stay near by since we saw them 4 different days. They don’t have the word bear in the name and a bear themed cabin for no reason. You will see a lot of bears especially if you sit out on the deck and eat breakfast every morning like we did. We even had a morning where one of the smaller bears claimed the tree next to us and just hung out and watched us video him. I know it sounds like I’m leaning into the bears heavily but that’s why some people actually come to some of these places. Now on to the cabin itself. Very nice, peaceful, and super romantic place to stay! We absolutely loved how all the lighting could be turned down to like an adjustable mood lighting instead of just an on and off switch. The bed is massive and comfortable. The only notable thing is the bed room doesn’t have a smart tv but most places like this really don’t. You can however find a channel for Netflix and YouTube in the menu guide while scrolling that is like the real app. Have to cut it short due to running out of space!

Secluded, quiet and bears

My wife and I went up for a week with our Yorky Radar. The cabin is at the end of a shared drive and surrounded by trees so it was quiet and secluded. I assume the outside lights stay on all the time so we had to sweep down copious amounts of cobwebs in all outside areas and sweep up bugs and moths even in the kitchen which isn’t something you want to do after a 6 hour drive. We saw bears every day which was nice but you have to be cautious when coming and going and definitely have to keep pets on a leash. The bed and deck furniture were comfortable. The Love seat in the living area could use an upgrade. We had a great and relaxing week and would recommend to friends.

We are Cody and Jess; welcome to our cabin. When we first started coming to Gatlinburg as a little getaway and fell in love with the mountains and all the area had to offer. After several more trips to Gatlinburg and staying in cabins we decided we wanted to have our own home away from home. We live in a small town about 20 minutes North of Indianapolis. With alot of flat land and cornfields at home the mountains are such a nice change of scenery. We love to be outdoors and to hike and explore. Together we have several residential rental properties in Indiana as well as 2 cabins in Gatlinburg TN. We love to spend time with family and friends and bring a big group down to Gatlinburg to our cabins each Spring!

We fell madly in love with everything about this cabin. The long drive way up to the cabin is amazing. We see some sort of wild life every time. This cabin is perfectly tucked away into the trees and the Smoky Mountain National Park. It is an authentic hand hewn log cabin that was relocated and added onto. This is such a romantic cabin made for 2. There is a 2 way real wood fire place that opens to the living area and the bedroom. The private deck has a lovely area for dinning, relaxing or enjoying the hot tub in total seclusion. There is a huge picture window that can be seen from the bed. We love to wake up and look through the window and feel like you are floating in the trees. We got engaged in this cabin and it will forever be a special place for us. We hope it will be for you too.

This is a real deal authentic hand hewn log cabin that was built in the early 1900's. It has since been moved to the current location and added onto to. We completed an interior remodel in early 2020 giving this cabin the perfect balance of authenticity and modern comforts. The seclusion and scenery surrounding this cabin is just spectacular.
