This place is in a great location!

The inside was nice but could use a little Tlc. Bathroom face towels ratty, new pillows and a full sized coffee maker would make me feel more appreciated. The outside is in bad shape. Rusted chairs, no bikes, no grill, some yucky foam oozing out of the wall from a past repair. Garbage cans gross. Basically a nice place but it needs a once over and to have the amenities it advertised.

Thank you for mentioning that the home is nice. A quick phone call could have addressed your towels and coffee maker issues. Our bikes are provided as a courtesy and been replaced by electrical bikes that are rented via an APP. Our electrical bike rental program is still in Beta mode. Our garbage cans are provided by the County and are a mandatory standard model. Everyone has the same service and looks in Naples.

Not pleasant

The dog next door wouldn’t stop barking. The door security went off constantly. The furniture is uncomfortable. The neighborhood is questionable. The walls are peeling.

On New Years Eve Day and Season the Fireworks blasting makes the neighborhood dog barking and security systems going off. Yes, you rented the property over the New Years week! It is unfortunate that your review isn't more positive. As to the neighborhood we have more millionaires in Naples per capita than anywhere else in the USA, this data is very well documented. Our neighborhood has 2 Ritz with 1.5 mile from the property and a very well respected neighborhood in the area. Your description is not in harmony with other reviews.

Spacious clean apartment close to everything!

After we received notification that our rental (from another property on VRBO) was cancelled due to hurricane Ian. Scrambling to find a place, Joseph responded promptly and allowed my husband and I into his property that very day. The apt was close to everything, spacious, clean and had a nice patio. Had a wonderful stay!

Apartment was nice inside and very clean. Outside was not very nice.

Very nice unit inside. Recently updated and have everything we needed. For the price I thought the furniture could have been much nicer and possibly newer. Toilet didn’t refill tank without some help but we managed that ok. Outside could easily be made nicer. Overall it was a pretty good location and we enjoyed the inside of the property.

Nice place but not super accurate listing

Overall property is nice, clean, kitchen and bathroom up to date. Furniture outdated. Beds are two singles put together. Listing showed two bikes, there are no bikes available for your stay which means it’s quite a big walk to the beach (20 minutes). If you have a car you can drive and park, $10 per day and be prepared to still walk about 8 minutes. Issues with not getting code from Joseph until we landed in Florida. Code was not sent ahead of time. Unit has AC but you cannot adjust temperature. Overall the cost for value is not worth it.

We don't provide access codes for security and safety reasons days in advance. Access codes are provided upon arrival arrival day. Bicycles are provided on a courtesy basis. They are electrical bikes, and are operated through and App. A bike rental/usage fee is applicable. The A/C is controlled through an efficient energy management system (Nest). The A/C is inclusive of an UV purifying system. Bed is King Size with 2 separate mattresses, and furniture is wicker beach style.

Not Fancy but Very Serviceable

Outside appearance not great but interior was just fine for our short stay. The place is small at 700 sq feet. The kitchen appliances were new and the bathroom shower worked great. We did not have our dogs with us but the fenced in gravel yard would have been good for pets. There was no outdoor grill or bikes. The duplex is within a couple miles of Vanderbilt beach. Shopping and restaurants also are very near.

Just Great!

Very nice stay at this lovely home. Consideration has been given to all details. Cupboards are well stocked with cooking and kitchen supplies. Even beach towels were provided. The fenced-in courtyard was fantastic. Such a pleasant place for coffee in the morning and cocktails in the evening. There were not any usable bikes, but we had our own so it wasn’t an issue. The neighborhood was great for walking and bike riding. Neighbors are very pleasant and kind. Such a nice place. Thank you, Joseph for sharing your place.

Perfect place for a couple

This place was great for an anniversary getaway. The house is not far from the beach, with easy access to restaurants and grocery stores. The bikes were a blessing and made this weekend just that much sweeter!

Great location.

Great location! Close to beaches and shopping! Updated unit and clean. One bike had a flat tire when we arrived, but owner said he’ll reimburse us for having it fixed. Bring your own bike lock and beach chairs.

Fantastic Stay!

Finding a place to stay with a pet can sometimes be a daunting task. Even when you find a hotel or motel that accepts pets it’s real hassle. Joseph’s Vanderbilt Beach apartment solved my pet problems completely. Beautiful travertine marble tile floors, a doggie door and a large wood fenced outside area where my mid-size collie could actually run, provided a perfect answer to all my concerns. My bedroom, walk-in closet and bath seemed brand new and clean as a whistle. The full sized washer & dryer made it easy to keep my traveling wardrobe fresh & clean. “To Die For” is the only description I can give for the spacious and open kitchen I cooked in when not dining out. I can say this…all in all, a great week was had by all (and that includes my collie Bonnie Mae). Same time same place next year Joseph, pencil us in!

Great location/dog friendly

This property is located within biking distance of two beautiful beaches - Vanderbilt to the south and Wiggins pass slightly north. It comes with two beach cruiser bikes, a grill, washer dryer and is DOG friendly. These were features that were important to us as we biked to to beach almost every day and have two small dogs. Patio is fenced in with patio furniture for relaxing. Safe, up and coming neighborhood in a fantastic location between old Naples and Bonita Beach. Price relatively competitive.

The perfect home

I loved my rental. It was charming, clean and had everything I could possibly need for a two-week visit. The kitchen was fully-equipped and the closet in the bedroom was a dream! I would thoroughly recommend this home. The property is only a few blocks from the beach and all the shopping in the world. The location of this home is perfect.

Comfy Cozy

My husband and I totally loved this rental! All amenities were brand new..kitchen appliances, washer dryer etc. The place has been recently updated so the floors, kitchen cabinets, granite counter tops and bathroom are all brand new and top quality. The master bedroom has a very large walk in closet and a couple Coleman cots with sleeping bags in case you have overnight guest. The place is located close to several beaches and comes with two bicycles to get you there if you prefer not to drive. It is also close to shopping and restaurants. Truly enjoyed the Mercato district...ate there three nights in a row...everything your palate desires... Asian, Mexican, Italian, Wine bars, dancing etc...all in one place and only 2 miles away!! The owner greeted us and was very friendly and helpful. I strongly recommend this comfy beautiful place to anyone visiting Naples!!

The property we stayed in was very nice. It was clean, modern, and the bed was very comfortable.

My overall experience at the property was good. As previously stated the property was clean, modern and has a very comfortable bed. The beaches we're beautiful. My wife and I have visited many beaches in this country and in other parts of the world and Naples beaches are at the top of our list. We had two concerns while staying at the property and the owner addressed them quickly. The local restaurants and Cafes served great food and gave good serve. The restaurants on the beach were fantastic. We were disappointed with one thing. When we deceided to rent the property, there was a picture on the VRBO website of a garden porch attached to the property that we would have access to at any time. This was one of the reasons we choose this property over some other properties we were considering. When we arrived at the property we did not have access to this garden porch. We were seperated from this garden by a fence. When I tried to contact the owner concerning this, he did not respond. He did respond to two other concerns as previously noted, but did not respond to this one. It was very disappointing and misleading. I would ask in the future that this picture is removed from the website, because it does not represent the property you are renting. My overall experience was good, but would have been great had it not been for this misrepresention of the property. We will visit Naples again.
