Excellent rental property. Very secluded with state-of-the-art amenities. Host was very responsive with communication. As other review mentioned, the road up to the property was gravel and steep, but seemed to be well maintained. Our family enjoyed the hot tub, sauna, and fire pit area. Property was even better than the pictures!!

Perfection! 5 stars! Felt like a spa resort

I would give this house more than 5 stars if I could. Hands down best place we have ever stayed. Perfect for families and fur babies. I didn't know when I booked but this house is actually a certified wildlife habitat. From the moment you walk in and hear the koi pond, you feel relaxed. The location is fantastic, especially with the General Store at the end of the driveway. The house was immaculate, very comfortable bedding and beds.

Wonderful home to relax at.

Really enjoyed the modern clean, architecture that brought the outdoors inside. Tall ceilings and abundant light from all the windows was very cheerful. The beds are comfortable and the floorpan works well for a family or multiple couples.

Well needed rest and relaxation, far far into the hills.

We enjoyed the different furniture offerings, and were quite comfortable throughout our stay. The interior of the home was well kept, to date, and welcoming. Having a koi pond in the great room was nice as well! Beds in each room were very sturdy, very soft, and the linens were not overly bleached or otherwise strong to smell. Thoughtful hosts remembered almost every little thing one would need in the kitchen. Nice spot, would stay again.

I have vacationed at this property with family and friends over the last 10-12 years. At my recent stay, I noticed the steep driveway to and from the property has few large and deep potholes that could use repairs/maintenance by the host. Thanks!

What a relaxing and beautiful place to stay!

Our family loved the house! We enjoyed the massage chairs and the record player. The kids loved watching the koi fish and everyone enjoyed the hot tub and sauna! It was spacious, clean and had activities for everyone.

The house is nice, but I would not stay here again

House was clean and has most everything you need. We had a couple of issues though. There was a constant knocking noise coming from the Koi pond. Possibly a pump. It was terribly annoying especially at night. Couldn’t get away from it. Also, every so often we would hear a loud noise like a door closing. We don’t know where it was coming from, but it was a little creepy at night. Last issue was the driveway, heavy rains washed parts of it away. It was pretty treacherous.

Beautiful & Peaceful

There's a lot to say about this beautiful space tucked way up in the mountain side (definitely take an AWD/higher sitting vehicle). Gorgeous views, lovely-modernized space with everything you could imagine using. We had some broken amenities (massage chairs, jacuzzi tub and tv). The TV was replaced immediately; staff to do so were extremely kind. For the price of the stay I would have expected a much cleaner place with all amenities working properly. Location for hiking trails is superb.

House was clean and had most everything we needed. No beach towels for the hot tub and some of the kitchen utensils need replaced as they are on the verge of breaking. There was a constant knocking noise coming from the Koi pond, which was terribly annoying especially as night. There was also a loud noise we would hear periodically, like a door closing. Couldn’t figure out what it was. Driveway was partially washed away from heavy rains so it was pretty treacherous to get in and out. Happy we have an all wheel drive vehicle. There are a couple maintenance issues that need addressed. Towel bar is hanging off on one side in the upstairs bathroom. The large flower boxes on the deck are full of weeds and moss, kind of sad looking. We did enjoy our stay, but I would not come back to this particular house.

Clean remodel work and very clean accommodations. Great fire pit, sauna clean and nice new amenity. Massage chairs have some wear since they are clearly enjoyed! Water feature with coy great and relaxing for our reading retreat weekend. Hot tub unfortunately didn't work because of electric issue but host very fast to respond and accommodating. Some trees and limbs around wooded property have come down and need some care eventually but nothing that caused issue or disruption. Drive path to house is washed out since we had lots of rain this spring but our specific stay was most beautiful weekend we've had all summer.If you want to actually enjoy time with family or friends in a beautiful space, this is the perfect option.
