Booked last minute for a birthday surprise. Everything was smooth from booking, checking in and checking out. The space was wonderfully decorated and clean. The window views were amazing. Would love to stay again.

The space was beautiful and very clean. We had everything we needed for two people over a few days. The kitchen has the basics, but if you’re the type to cook a big meal, consider packing some of the more specialized items, and pack your food accordingly since the area is remote. We particularly enjoyed the hot-tub and the views through the floor to ceiling windows. We had an unfortunate power outage the first night due to a storm but the hosts were responsive and kept in touch until it was resolved.

Magical view of the outdoors was spectacular.

From the ease of check-in, the cleanliness of the cabin and property, to the wonderful amenities, our stay was perfect. The hot tub and rear deck offered breathtaking views and a relaxing atmosphere. Being able to bring our dog with us on a much needed getaway was perfect. We plan on coming back soon!

While our own cabin was dealing with a mice infestation, my husband and I were lucky enough to find this cabin for a last-minute anniversary trip! The view itself from this gorgeous property is absolutely incredible, and while we absolutely love our own cabin, this little gem may have officially become an annual trip! The owner could not have been more kind and responsive (again, last-minute booking), getting in was as relaxing as the cabin itself.

The cabin was great. Only thing that was a little disappointing, was we thought it set further off the road and was hoping we'd see some wildlife but didn't. Also need some kind of blinds on those big windows just in case you wanted to keep blazing sun coming in. Also need hooks or rack for hanging clothes. Loved the hot tub turned it up to 104 and enjoyed the jets. Thank you for a nice getaway for us.

Thompson Oasis

This modern style cabin home was beautiful. The location was perfect for driving to the local area attractions to see waterfalls and caves especially Rockhouse. The house offered all basic essentials needed for our stay plus the added touches of hand soaps, linens and board games. The hot tub was great and the deck environment added to an amazing atmosphere. The home is set in right off the road but did not find this a problem as it was quiet and still able to offer a cabin in the woods feel. The only thing that I would say I did not like is this is listed as pet friendly so keep in mind as clean and inviting the cabin was the remnants of the previous tenants pet was lingering, I did follow up with the owner of facility who stated they would look in to their cleaning protocols and strive to do better with deep cleaning. Overall we had a lovely stay and would visit again!

The little cabin that could...

be really special. It's a nice space, but it takes minimalism to a new level. The kitchen has some plates, silverware, a toaster, a couple pots...so don't plan to really cook yourself a meal. There's room for a dishwasher and it should have one. The space is sufficient, but it is very inefficiently laid out. There's is no place to put anything. Everything you bring either has to stay in your vehicle or all over the floor of the cabin. Suitcases, backpacks, pet stuff...it all just lays all over the floor. There are no shelves, bench, dresser, closet, suitcase stand...nothing. It's pretty to look at, but it's so completely non-functional. I'm not an interior designer by trade, but I can quickly name 30 things that could be done to make it more traveler/guest friendly. The couch is like sitting on cement blocks covered with fabric. Other than the bed, there is no place to really sit and relax because, again, the couch is horrific. The gas grill was frustrating. No matter what I did, I could not get it to stay lit. The forest view is great. If the accumulation of unnecessary annoyances (at this nightly rate) will bother you, then I'd look elsewhere.

We had a nice time at the cabin. The inside was clean, tidy, and warm when we arrived.

We enjoyed the hot tub and the quiet stay. Some things that could have improved our stay was that the couch was extremely firm/uncomfortable to sit on, the driveway was not plowed/or shoveled on arrival ( only the steps ) so it made it a little difficult to get in, and one of the blankets that was folded up when opened had long dark black hairs on it- guessing a pet ) and scattered all over when opened ) . The cabin was clean and staff were very friendly and helpful when we did have an issue.
