Welcome to "Whispering Palms," a serene sanctuary in Galveston's Sea Isle community.
Step into a space designed with warmth and comfort in mind. Our living area invites you to sink into a plush sofa and recliners, where you can unwind in front of the smart TV. The fully equipped kitchen is not just a place to cook; it's where cherished memories are made over shared meals and laughter. From major appliances to small conveniences like an air fryer, ice maker, and toaster, we've got everything you need to whip up delicious meals.
Downstairs, our outdoor space beckons you to relax and soak up the sun. Fire up the propane grill for a barbecue or gather around the outdoor TV for movie nights under the stars. This is where we've spent countless evenings making memories with family and friends.
Upstairs, our large porch with its swing and ample seating is the heart of our home. We've named it "Whispering Palms", where the gentle rustle of the palm trees provides the soundtrack to lazy mornings and tranquil evenings. This is where we've savored our coffee and watched the world go by.
The bedrooms offer plush comfort for a restful night's sleep. Choose from the spacious king bedroom, the cozy queen bedroom, or the fun twin bedroom. All bedrooms feature smart TVs. Additional blankets and pillows are available in the guest closet and are cleaned after each guest if used. Linens are provided on each bed.
Towels, washcloths, and hand towels are provided for each person. We have started providing beach towels and kindly ask you not use the white bath towels at the beach.
There is a washer and dryer available for your use inside.
With two full baths, there's plenty of space for everyone to freshen up after a day of fun in the sun.
We understand the importance of including every member of the family, which is why we welcome one dog under 20 lbs for a pet fee. We're committed to ensuring that your furry friend feels as at home as you do. We provide a kennel for your friend and kindly request you use it or bring your own while away from the house to help prevent damage. Our large fenced-in backyard allows your little loved one to run around.
Larger dogs or additional dogs will be considered on a case by case basis, but must be approved first with possible additional fees.
We offer free high-speed Wi-Fi access throughout the property. Smart TVs can be logged in with your accounts so you can enjoy and pick up where you left off on your favorite shows. There are free apps available to watch as well.
You also have the option to access the community swimming pool for an additional fee (contact host for more info)
Our home is ideally situated within walking distance of the beach, the West End Marina with its fully stocked convenience store and gift shop, bait shop, restaurant, bars, and the fishing pier.
Rent a golf cart from one of our nearby providers, such as Rick's Beach Rentals, which can be delivered and picked up at the house. They can also provide full beach setups, including umbrellas and chairs, as well as kayak and surfboard rentals! Whether you're indulging in fresh seafood at the marina restaurant or sipping cocktails at the nearby bars, you'll discover the true essence of Galveston living.
