We would definitely stay here again. We liked the off street guaranteed parking, the private walkway to the beach, and inside, on the second floor, the view of the sun rising over the ocean and the early birds walking on the beach. Perfect place for my blended family. Rooms and beds for us all. Little private walkway to the beach gave us direct access and we had the beach to ourselves. The cottage provided everything we needed to make our own meals. The host was attentive and accommodating. DVD players and DVD movies provided gave us parents a bit of nostalgia we will definitely be back

First of all, you won't find a nicer, more attentive host than Lena anywhere. Her 3 bedroom, 2 bath cottage, aptly named "Serenity", is welcoming, super-clean, with lovely oceanfront views and a private, short path to the beach. My family loved the balcony and patio- and the quiet location. We'll definitely be back next summer!

Great Beachfront Home!

This property is absolutely amazing! It is a 10-15 minute walk to the pier, and you can see the water from the deck and one bedroom. The space was clean and had everything you need. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone looking for a beach stay.

Best vacation ever

The location is great and the host was amazing. Very attentive to details but never intrusive. The rental unit was very clean and had everything you would have at home. A short walk to the pier and then you can retreat back to a quieter, more relaxed area. Would definitely rent this again.

From the welcome by the owner, to the wonderful surprise gift waiting inside, I was very happy with this rental. It was spacious, clean, and the location is terrific. A perfect location to enjoy Old Orchard Beach

If you are looking for a great mix of a quiet beach within walking distance to the Pier and action this is the place to stay. We had plenty of room for our group of 10 and Lena went above and beyond to make us comfortable. The beach is just a few hundred feet away and was by far one of the best locations in the area. The kids also really enjoyed the quick walk to all the amusements and fun OOB has to offer. We really enjoyed this house and highly recommended it to anyone looking to enjoy Old Orchard Beach.

PERFECT VACATION PLACE!!

The absolute best Old Orchard Beach place to stay by far! The house was perfect for us. It was very clean and comfy, well equipped, spacious and had the most comfortable beds. Beach location is undeniably ideal and wonderful, only a short walking distance (less than a minute to get to the beach), not to crowded and very family oriented. Amazing location with terrific owners!

Upon arrival we were greeted with a basket of delicious goodies and a gift for the children. The home was immaculate and spacious as advertised. We have visited OOB for many years and always struggle with finding a place that is accomodating to our rather large family. Our first vacation of summer 2015- Just couple of words to describe it Excellentic Fantabulous Loved everything from the house, the view of altantic & beautiful soft and white sand on the beach! House was very clean, pictures on VRBO does not make any justice to the actual place. Our young kids had tremendous fun on the beach, they could just walk to beach on their own never to be worried about cars crossing. Warmth and coziness of the house and owner made this homely experience. Thank you very much for this experience ā€“ never to be forgotten We will be BACK!! We could not have picked a more amazing place to spend our family vacation! Everything was absolutely perfect-the weather was fantastic, the ocean was refreshing, like I have never seen it here in Maine before . I think global warming is making the ocean warmer..The location and the house deserve a 5 star rating. I enjoyed walking the beach and loved the peacefulness of this location . This spot was still close enough to walk to all the restaurants and rides for the grandkids. My whole family adored this beach cottage and can't say enough great things about the beautiful beach and the location. It was a highlight to watch the sunsets from the front balcony and the kids watched the Thursday night fireworks from the beach I highly recommend this beach home. It has it all.

Truly a 5 star stay!!

Truly a 5 star stay!! This was our second time spending our family beach vacation at this home and it was again amazing! The home was clean and welcoming when we arrived. It is so nice to find a home that we could all enjoy meals together at the same table (there were 9 of us) and a living area that we could all relax in. The kitchen was equipped with everything needed. The balcony with ocean view is a great place to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning. The beach was great! Soft sand and level beach with plenty of area to sit, even on a busy day. The beach is great for a run in the morning!! The house is a great distance from the pier, we walked there every night...nice to walk back on the beach, too. The owner was so very kind and gracious during our stay:))

True Serenity in Old Orchard Beach

What a wonderful, relaxing week my family had at Serenity Cottage. The cottage was in a great location, close enough to walk to the pier and yet far enough away to avoid the noise when we wanted quiet. The cottage was very clean and spacious and was completely furnished with everything we could want during the week. The owner lives nearby and was available all week if needed, but quite frankly, we had everything we needed and more. The beautiful white sandy beach was located right outside the door and we did not find the beach to be overcrowded the entire week. My family ranged in age from 4 to 73 and we all enjoyed the many activities nearby such as Palace Playland, Cabelas, Ogunquit Playhouse, a lobster cruise, just to mention a few. We are already booked for a week in 2019 and look forward to having another great family vacation at Serenity Cottage.

Summer Kick Off Family Time

We were graciously greeted by the friendly Owner who lives on the 3 compound property, available for advising on any of our few concerns. Each cottage has parking for 4 cars, next to the sandy, beautiful stretch of beach. Two floors of spacious rooms, so comfortably furnished, with two bathrooms, and space for a large family. We enjoyed card games around the large table, nice showers, easy access to beach, town festivities and shopping, and the beauty of extended seaside strolling both morning and night. We felt safe and cared for. When hot out, we were cooled by air conditioning or ceiling fans. There were tvā€™s in each bedroom and plenty of seats for a big family to relax. The cottage accommodated 10 of us with ease

best beach and cottage combined!

My bookclub consisting of six women spent the week at this wonderful cottage in Old Orchard Beach Maine. The location was ideal. Away from the crowds. This perfect house contained everything we needed for our stay . It was extremely spacious , very clean ,and had all the great amenities necessary . It was really nicely decorated, and welcoming! We absolutely loved it! It was close to the center of town and a short drive to all shopping. It was such a peaceful setting, and we thoroughly enjoyed spending time on the front balcony ,listening to the ocean waves. The washer dryer came in really handy. Best part was the beach -a tranquil paradise, not crowded like other areas of the beach where we had stayed in the past. Private, peaceful, and we were even provided with beach chairs. This is truly a wonderful find. We all loved it and would definitely stay here again . We highly recommend this vacation home! Naomi I

"Home" away from home

This was our second year renting this home and we love our "home away from home". The owner actually treats you like family. The house is very clean and very comfortable. The owner was on site to take care of any needs we had and I can honestly say we had none. The house is well furnished and well-maintained. We could see the ocean from the balcony and we just had to walk across the driveway to be on the beach. No roads to cross, great for my grandchildren. The beach in front of our rental is absolutely beautiful and not overly crowded. The house is far enough away from the pier so that we avoid all the noise, but close enough to walk to when we wanted to visit the shops. We are already booked for 2017 and we can't wait to make many more family memories in our "home away from home". I highly recommend this home for anyone looking to experience Maine and all it has to offer. We have stayed in many rentals from York to Wells and this home is by far the best we've ever seen.
