Captain's Cove is a historical Victorian home that was built in 1895, featuring a main level apartment suite, and 3 additional separate boutique hotel suites on the second floor. This listing is for the main level apartment suite featuring one bedroom, an open floor plan, a full kitchen, and a beautiful fireplace. The living area features a trundle day bed which allows for 2 additional comfortable twin mattresses if you are travelling with family or friends.

Enter your sleeping quarters through the light and bright French doors, with curtains for privacy and a beautiful night's sleep. The bathroom is located off the bedroom, featuring floor to ceiling subway tile and perfect lighting to help you get ready for any important events or a nice date night in OCC.

The kitchen is fully stocked with all the tools you need to cook a hearty meal. Enjoy your meal around the large island, dining table, or at any of the outdoor sitting areas including the front porch or garden patio. The garden space is also perfect for enjoying your morning cup of coffee or a glass of wine in the evening. Don't forget to check out the gold fish pond!

Captain's Cove is also home to our small business, Captain Drips Tie Dye Studio, in a separate building on the property. If you love a good experience and enjoy getting creative contact us about booking a class. We offer tie dye classes for all different styles including traditional, reverse tie dye and ice dyes. All guests receive 15% off all classes and handmade retail.

The space
Captain's Cottage is a private cottage on the Captain's Cove compound. The space has one bedroom with a beautiful queen bed, and a charming daybed that offers two additional twin beds, perfect for traveling with kids or friends. There is a full kitchen with all the amenities for cooking your perfect meal, that you can enjoy at your dining room table or outside on your private patio. Relax in your large Jacuzzi tub after a day of hiking or local adventures. Enjoy all the restaurants, shops, and attractions in Old Colorado City, all walkable from your front door.
