The Space:
Welcome to our carefully curated short-term rental in Colorado. Gather with family and friends around the woodblock table for libations, late-night banter, or choose from the library of classic games. The main parlour of this historic cottage features an intimate conversation space, 50” Roku TV, and a workspace for wayfaring writers and business travelers. The clawfoot bathtub with rain shower soothes even the most road-weary traveler.

LIVING ROOM
Kick back on the comfy sofa and enjoy your favorite shows on the big 55” TV with speedy Wi-Fi. Log into your own Hulu, Netflix, and other accounts easily. Need to catch up on work? There's a desk area for that, plus a cool retro radio/mp3 player for your tunes. Sit back in the cozy wingback chairs for a chat. Adjust the temperature with the smart thermostat on the wall if you need to.

DINING ROOM
The dining area is part of the open living space. Gather around the stylish wooden table that seats 6. The décor here is all about creativity and fun.

KITCHEN
Everything you need for cooking and more! Fridge, stove, microwave, and all the dishes and utensils you could want. Coffee lovers, rejoice! We've got a regular coffee maker and French press, plus all the fixings. Don't forget the waffle maker for a tasty breakfast treat!

BEDROOMS
Both the Queen and Full bedrooms are equipped with TVs, white noise machines, and everything else you need for a comfy stay. Charge your devices easily with phone chargers and enjoy a good night's sleep with extra blankets and cozy amenities.

BUSINESS TRAVELERS
Keyless entry, fast Wi-Fi, and a spacious desk with charging outlets make working on the go a breeze. Stay powered up with additional charging stations throughout the house.

No need to pack heavy—use our washer and dryer and find laundry pods provided. We've even got an iron and ironing board for your convenience.

Plenty of street parking available right outside.

Find all your cleaning needs under the sink, plus a broom, mop, and vacuum for any tidying up.

Guest Access:
You will have access to the entire house to include a private entry, refreshing front porch with seating, and the back yard. During your stay, rest assured you may use the washer and dryer on site at your convenience

The Neighborhood:
Walk to the best spots, or take a quick drive to others!
This home is in Old Colorado City, a historic area with buildings over 150 years old and charming Old West style. You can easily stroll to restaurants, shops, and more along Colorado Avenue, just a few blocks away.

Within a short walk, you'll find Jives Coffee Lounge, OCC Brewpub, and the famous beer cheese soup at Alchemy. For more adventure, drive 5 minutes to Colorado Mountain Brewery or try out different Colorado brews at Trails End Taproom after exploring Red Rocks Open Space.

If you're up for more, a quick 6-minute drive leads to Garden of the Gods and the Manitou Incline, where you can hike or take the Cog Railroad up Pikes Peak. Nearby Thorndale Park offers playgrounds, picnic areas, and sports courts for outdoor fun.

Getting Around:
A Lime scooter docking station is located 3 blocks away at Bancroft Park and makes tooling around the neighborhood easy and convenient. A car, Uber, or Lyft will serve you best when traveling further around the Pikes Peak Region. Mountain Metro provides bus schedules and maps if you'd like to use public transportation.

Other Things to Note:
For a seamless booking experience, a Rental Agreement is required for all reservations. Once your reservation is confirmed, we'll provide details for completing the agreement. We look forward to hosting you!

For a seamless check-in experience, you'll receive a unique code via message along with your check-in instructions on the morning of your arrival. You'll use this code for keyless entry.

We've also prepared a starter supply that includes paper towels, coffee K-cups, toilet paper, shampoo, body wash, and plush white towels! We hope these amenities add an extra touch of comfort to your stay.

-We do not have onsite maintenance or cleaning unlike hotels but all requests will be taken care of ASAP.
-Central AC units are best kept at 68 degrees or above. Due to the lack of humidity in the area if the thermostat is lowered below 68 degrees it is possible that it can freeze the unit if it is working too hard. Unfortunately, it will take 24 hours for the unit to defrost before an HVAC specialist can service it. Our evenings are generally cool in the summer time, simply opening the windows will provide extra natural coolness.
-Please review the sleeping arrangements prior to booking.
-Please keep all trash secure in the bins. Do not leave any trash out overnight for your safety and the surrounding active wildlife in the city's area.
-The TV's offer streaming services only for guest's to use their subscriptions. Just don't forget to log out!
-This house is not pet friendly, Please be respectful of this rule to keep it safe for any guests who stay after you who might have pet allergies.
