"Having spent 15 years running Chalet Le Pot de Miel in the Hautes-Alpes we decided that our next project should be to create a similarly warm and welcoming holiday destination under the warm Luberon sun, and chose to settle near Saignon, a wonderful village overlooking the Apt Valley.
We have spent two years renovating Villa Vauvert, carefully restoring the property while retaining its traditional charm, and are now ready to share it with you.
Be sure to take advantage of our home chef service, which is available by arrangement – simply get in touch with us to find out about our seasonal menus, all of which are prepared using fresh, local produce."

Villa Vauvert is nestled in a private forest, in the Parc du Luberon. Just 2km from the beautiful perched village of Saignon, and 2km from the charming provencal town of Apt, famous for it's Saturday market, Villa Vauvert is in a great spot! One hour from Aix en Provence, one hour from Avignon, and just a short drive to some of the most beautiful provencal towns: Lourmarin, Isle sur la Sorgue, Gordes, Roussillon...there is so much to do. Wineries, lavender fields, markets, bike tours or just relaxing by the pool.
For us, it was love at first sight!
Our perfect day starts with a croissant and a big coffee, french-style in a bowl, at Chez Christine in Saignon. Then a visit of Pierre's art studio and a climb up to the Rocher de Saignon, for a beautiful panoramic view of the Luberon. A leisurely stroll around one of the many weekly markets follows, to stock up on some amazing fresh produce and prepare for a long lunch under the shade of our ancient oak trees.

Every corner is designed for your relaxion, whether it's the shady terrace for long lunches, the hanging terrace for a sunny morning coffee or the sunset aperatif by the pool under the shade of the majestic oak trees. And all this, literally 5 minutes from Apt, a bustling market town, typical of Provence.
