Very nice visit

We were very pleased with the property. The beach was not crowded. Kitchen is very well stocked. Top floor has nice open design. Comfortable rooms. The bedrooms are not spacious but that was fine for us. They were clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay again

Honeymoon Getaway

Our overall stay was really great. If you are looking for a clean home with a great location and private then this is a good option. It was just the two of us so there were 3 other bedrooms that went unused. Other than the network being out most of our stay and restricted use of the fireplace during the season which it did not list we had a great time.

Amazing spot!

We had a family get together for a birthday and Sandy Bottoms was the perfect spot. It was very clean well equipped and has amazing views. It was very nice to have such a great spot that allowed our dog to come too. The host was very responsive and informative, we had no problems or needs while there. Plenty of room on the beach. Lots of great kitchen gadgets and bar area. There were puzzles and books available.

Birthday weekend

Family celebration for my daughter’s 25th birthday. Had several of her friends join us and the house was perfect for all eight of us. The beds are so comfortable, house was very clean and the kitchen was very well stocked with not just cooking items but spices and condiments as well. The proximity to the beach was outstanding. We lucked out with the weather and really enjoyed the beach and when we were not on the beach we were on the top deck enjoying the sounds and views of the beach. Would love to come back next year for sure 😊

Great house

Sandy Bottoms is in a great location, the beach is nice and wide! The house was in excellent condition and very clean! The kitchen was well stocked with appliances, cooking pots and pans, cutting boards,knives, etc. Plenty of books, games and puzzles in the house which was very nice because we had a lot of rain. The bedrooms offered a lot of space with 3 of them being ocean front. The beds and other furniture in the house were very comfortable. The living area was nice a big also! We had a great time and because of the rain, it was great to have a spacious place.

Zero complaints!!

We had an amazing time at Sandy Bottoms and felt extremely comfortable and relaxed! The house was updated and modern in style and very clean. They provided everything we needed in regards to a fully stocked kitchen, plush linens and towels and plenty of entertainment for the family including games, puzzles, books and smart tvs in every room. The house was perfect but the view of the beach was even better! No crowds to fight, felt like we had the beach to ourselves most of the time! We had absolutely zero complaints about our stay and There’s a very good chance that we will be back again next time we make it to Topsail Beach! Thank you for the hospitality!!

Very good choice

Property is as-advertised. Located on a quiet part of the island but close to necessities. House is nice, well-stocked, with plenty of room to spread out of needed. Smart TVs in every bedroom was nice. Deck and outdoor stairs are nice, some touch-ups needed. A nice addition to think about would be a better grill to cook out on. Suggest bringing your own extra blankets or comforters for use on the couch. Look forward to returning!

The property was good and good location. Enjoyed stay until after departure and property manager kept our security deposit for damage we did not do. After questioning it and asking if maybe her cleaning crew had possibly caused the damage by accident she seemed to get upset and said she was also checking with neighbors to see if we had dogs with us as well. Of course, we had no animals with us. After that she refused to respond to any further communication attempts. Be wary of using this company and if you do, take pictures of the entire place as soon as you get there so you don't end up like us and lose a lot of money for nothing.

We take great pride in maintaining this home and have had the same trusted team turning it over for the past two years. Unfortunately, there were deep scratches in the refrigerator that were not present before your stay, and the undisclosed pet you brought caused the damage. We’ve never had to hold a deposit before, which speaks volumes about both our guests and our standards of care. I trust future guests will see from our other reviews the level of quality and integrity we uphold.

Perfect Peaceful Getaway

This is the perfect spot for a peaceful getaway! When we arrived the entire house was spotlessly clean. The kitchen is well stocked with basic essentials. I spent most of my time sitting on the top deck where you can see and hear the ocean perfectly. It's the perfect spot to sit and read a book. The beach access is wonderful and the area isn't crowded at all. Communication from the owner was great. One thing I would say to future renters is that there are a lot of stairs. This is not a negative for us but if you have someone with mobility issues in your group this would be something to consider. We would definitely stay here again!

Best Holiday Home Ever!

We have been going to Topsail Island for 40 years and this rental was the best one we have ever stayed in. Betsy’s responsiveness was so helpful - and she provided enough information for our stay without being too much/controlling. The house was perfect - clean, everything you need available in the kitchen and home, and perfect for relaxation with family. We had dinner at home every night because we are a family who loves cooking and her kitchen was well stocked with cutlery, cooking utensils, spices, and anything else we would need. The view was amazing - the beach access was so easy, especially for my 72 year old father who has had ankles. Getting on and off the beach was very easy. We had our dogs with us and they loved running down to the beach every morning. The home also doesn’t smell like dogs are there - HUGE PLUS!Truly one of the best homes we have ever stayed in - thank you! We cannot wait to come back!

I am really sorry that you did not enjoy your last minute steeply discounted 3 night stay. I would like to point out to the people reading this review, that not once did you reach out to me during your stay. Instead you waited a few days after check out, and complained about your stay. We take pride in our response times, and if in fact anything was wrong with your stay we would have handled it promptly. I hope that the other viewers will take into consideration all the other 10/10 reviews instead.
