THE ISLAND
North Captiva Island is a hidden gem located off the west coast of Pine Island, FL, accessible only by boat or private plane. The secluded island is surrounded by Pine Island Sound and the Gulf of Mexico, offering visitors pristine white sand beaches, warm turquoise waters, and an abundance of wildlife. With 700 acres of protected preserve, North Captiva Island is a must-visit destination for nature lovers and beach enthusiasts alike. There are no cars allowed on the island (only golf carts) so visitors can enjoy a slower pace of life and truly disconnect from the hustle and bustle of the mainland. Whether you're looking to soak up the sun, go fishing, or simply unwind, North Captiva Island is the perfect destination for a relaxing getaway.

THE PROPERTY
Our rental home, called SweetWater Bay, is an exclusive beachfront property located on North Captiva Island. Designed with the charm of "Old Florida" in mind, it offers clean, fresh, and comfortable accommodations. This 3-bedroom vacation home is the ideal escape for up to 10 guests. It is located directly on the Bay side of the island and has a private beach perfect for sunbathing, swimming, dolphin and blue heron watching, and shell hunting.

FAMILY & PET FRIENDLY
Our family and pet friendly rental has three spacious bedrooms, all en-suites, each featuring stunning bay views. Two of the rooms have king beds and one room has two doubles. There are additional sleeping options for kids with four twin blow-up mattresses and a pack & play crib available upon request.

Renting SweetWater Bay promises endless fun and relaxation for all! From lively games of corn hole and ping pong to soothing soaks in the hot tub, there's never a dull moment. Make tropical drinks in your own personal tiki bar to sip on the expansive deck while soaking in panoramic views of the beach just steps away. For the avid angler, casting a line off the dock offers the chance to reel in the catch of the day. With an array of activities right at your fingertips, every moment spent at SweetWater Bay is filled with joy and unforgettable memories.

COOKING FRIENDLY
Our fully-equipped kitchen, stocked with luxury amenities including a Vitamix, KitchenAid stand mixer with ice cream maker attachment, electric green pan, and Le Creuset 4.5 Qt pot, caters to those who cherish leisurely family meals. Additionally, our DeLonghi all-in-one coffee maker provides both cappuccino and drip-coffee brewing. The combined living room & dining area has a comfortable seating area, a dining table that seats 8-10 and a smart TV (the only one in the house).

SPACIOUS OUTDOOR LIVING & PRIVATE BEACH
The outside spaces and private beach are just as inviting. Relax on the screened porch, perfect for unwinding after dark, complete with a seating area, daybed, and card table. The refreshing bay breeze, enhanced by a ceiling fan, ensures comfort year-round while dolphin sightings are a common sight from this vantage point.The expansive patio is gated for the safety of furry friends and little ones, and we offer games and beach toys to keep everyone entertained. Enjoy the sunrise from the shared balcony or unwind on the expansive deck, equipped with lounge chairs, comfortable seating, a large dining table and two large umbrellas. Or, take the steps down from the deck and relax on the gorgeous private beach which is hard to beat! There are so many choices, it will be difficult to choose!

TIKI BAR
For those seeking a true break from the sun, our shaded seating area and 'secret' tiki bar await beneath the deck. Our beachside tiki bar, steps away from our private beach, features a sink and full-size refrigerator, creating the perfect spot to cool off and enjoy your favorite drinks, rain or shine.

TWO SWIM CLUBS
For a additional guest fee, SweetWater Bay guests can have exclusive access to The Island Club and Safety Harbor Club, offering pools, a hot tub, a bar/restaurant, free bike and kayak rentals, pickleball courts, and more. A shared fishing dock, right in front of the house, allows for fishing, dolphin watching, and grocery drop-offs, all while enjoying the company of starfish.

TWO GOLF CARTS
Two new 4-seat club cars are included in the rental fee and are at your disposal to explore the island in style and comfort. Please note the age and alcohol restrictions when using these vehicles.
