We love this home. This is the second time we have stayed there this summer and it wont be the last. The house is clean and well stocked. Warm and comfortable. So much space for our large group. Heather is AMAZING to work with. My daughter left her gold necklace (from her Grandmother by the way) and didn't realize it till we were 40 minutes away. My daughter drove back to the house and Heather told her to go right in and get it. NO QUESTIONS ASKED!Already planning our 2027 season up there.

We enjoyed our family vacation very much. This is our second year to be here. The bedrooms on each floor gave our families privacy. The spacious kitchen is wonderful to work in with a large dining room.The fire ring out back is a nice place to relax and enjoy the evening.The living room with recliners is so enjoyable to have, instead of fixed chairs.We would recommend your house to anyone.

This property was fantastic, and the outdoor area is lovely and even better than pictured with more and updated outdoor furniture. Wish we could have had more time to stay longer. The basement is filled with so many fun activities, but we did not get to them.We would definitely stay here again!

Spacious-fun House

Enjoyed our stay at Shamrock. There was plenty of room to spread out and enjoy all the house had to offer. The large kitchen and family room was great for relaxing with our group! Would definitely rent again.

The home was beautiful, clean, kitchen had everything needed, and beds were comfortable. Lots of space and so many rooms, perfect for a large crowd. Our family and extended family of 7 adults did not even use all areas available.Having 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms was accommodating and made our time together easy and enjoyable.Host was very prompt to respond.

House and property is a dream / exceeded all of our expectations!!Had multiple family members over for the weekend with us.2-came over the first day and had dinner with the family and stayed for a camp fire, but-had to leave later in the evening for other priorities the next day.My brother was able to come that evening with 3-younger children and spend the night.More than enough room and sleeping availability for our family.Was so nice to have multiple bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone.Enjoyed the large firepit / brought along enough fire wood to burn for 2 nights / made smores for everyone and mountain pies the second evening.Yard / property was awesome for the kids and dog to play / run around.Took a basket ball for the kids / the basket ball hoop was a hit for our kids.(Can lower or raise the hoop by turning in the back, we used a small/ shorter screw driver to raise and lower for the little kids and bigger kids)House was very clean / master bedroom bed was great!!So comfortable / slept better there than my own house.Plenty of parking / had our boat with us and had plenty of room to park.** Driveway is pretty steep to enter the property**Loved the house / property - will hopefully be able to rent again in the future!!** If taking a boat and going to lake, probably best to go through the week - gets very busy at the boat launches and lake on the weekends**Thanks Again!Ken

Excellent Home

We stayed here to attend a week long event at Shenecoy Sportsmans Club and this home was in a great location and also had plenty of space for everyone to have their own bedroom and bathroom. The beds were very comfortable and the outdoor space was so peaceful. Home had all the amenities we needed. Would definitely stay here again if we’re back for another event. Only 15 minutes from downtown and restaurants but didn’t have to need to eat out too often with the ability to cook and enjoy the space of the home. WiFi was also excellent as a few of us worked remotely. Great home and very welcoming.

Loved the Shamrock

This may have been one of my favorite homes to stay in the Juniata College area! We were visiting our son for Easter from Philadelphia. The house is clean, kitchen is stocked with pots, pans, glasses etc. The game room was fun. Good for young kids & older more adult kids. Location was great for our dog walks. Communication was quick with the owner or agency. Check in and out procedures were very easy & simple. Will definitely try to stay here again!! Thank you Aunt Susie!!

Great place at an ideal location near the lake!

We had our entire family (18 of us) under one roof for a family vacation. We all had a great time at the Shamrock! The house had plenty of space for us all to congregate or to disperse as needed. We would rent the Shamrock or any of Aunt Susie's properties again in the future. Pros: We loved the game room, pool table, basketball hoop, firepit, large kitchen, plenty of utensils, eating space inside and out, bed linens were sealed in plastic wrap, beds were comfortable, quiet neighborhood, big yard for kids to play. Cons: Water pressure low, water heater capacity low, upstairs toilet volume, gate to basement needs to be more easily opened/secured, back door doesn't latch well, sound travels too easily in the house even when trying to be extra quiet, had to rewash some dishes.
