We gathered at Overlook Lodge to celebrate our parents turning 80 this year. Dawn was so helpful with ideas and resources of how to make our stay even more special. The house was perfect, filled with everything you could need to make this feel like home away from home. The view is amazing and the property offers so many ways to spend time together. Our group of 12 had plenty of room and ate many meals together around the large, lovely table. So glad we stayed here!

Mother Daughter Getaway

Overlook Lodge is absolutely the newest and most desirable VRBO rental property in all of the Lake Raystown region! The home is fully equipped with everything you need including some of the most beautiful views of the Lake and surrounding areas! Great stay!

We really enjoyed our stay and experience at Overlook Lodge! We had a large group that still fit very comfortably in the kitchen and living room area when we had group discussions. The view was beautiful, and the place was so peaceful. Great view of the stars at night, too! Would definitely recommend.

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful mountain house! The home was cozy, clean, and perfectly situated with stunning views that made it feel like a true getaway. Amazing home!!

Overlook Lodge was absolutely amazing!! A new home, nicely updated and super clean. Everything you would need and more in the kitchen. Bedrooms and bathrooms were nice and spacious. Outdoor areas were fantastic for adults and kids both!! Kids played wiffleball on the putting green area and adults enjoyed the pickleball court and deck. Fire pit area and hot tub amazing as well. Dawn was a gracious host, no issues whatsoever! Would absolutely go back!!

Annual Family Getaway

Absolutely stunning place to stay, we had all my siblings and my parents and nieces and nephews which total to 17 people and there was lots of space. A well thought designed cabin. We always love going to seven points beach and Tatman run beach is a good spot too. Dawn the host was very quick to response to any questions. Everything A+ about this place and we always love going to raystown lake.

Amazing!

We had our annual family reunion at Overlook Lodge and it was absolutely perfect. We had 7 kids + 7 adults and all fit comfortably. The game room, back porch, and outdoor green space were especially loved. Dawn was a fantastic, responsive host. We plan on coming back!

Multi-generational family vacation

This place was perfect!! We had 18 total people ranging from infant to 83 and the place was amazing! Kid friendly, spacious, well kept!! Just overall a really good space for large families! The neighborhood is quiet with an amazing view! Dawn is really great to work with, communicative, and really cares for her guests who stay in her house! Our family had an amazing time and would definitely return for another weekend together!

View is breathtaking, but host is incredible

A perfect micro-wedding venue!

The home is beautiful and the pictures do not do it justice, Dawn was an incredible host! She was not only responsive, but proactive and thoughtful in the months leading up to our stay. Our family and friends gathered for a micro wedding the weekend between Christmas and new years, and it could not have been a better venue. The mountain road was rough getting up, but manageable for cars of all models (there was no ice at the time of booking).

Great Place to stay.

Sits high atop the mountains with a fantastic view of the valley below. Boat launch with picnic tables and beach was 10 minutes away. The lodge is between marker 25 and 26 on the lake. Saw the Proud Mary numerous times going up and down the lake. We were there over the forth of July and watched the fireworks from the lodge. We saw Turkey and Deer. Would go back in a heartbeat.

Overlook stay

The property is beautiful. The facilities are great and the property owner is delightful to talk to. We had 4 families there, include my wife and I and 3 of our children and their families totaling 16. There was just the right amount of room and we had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Unfortunately the weather was not great, with rain on the first 2 of 3.5 days, light snow on the second and the only sunshine as we were packing to leave. Thanks to Dawn for her kindness.
