The space:

The Coastal Sol Beach House is brand new construction, just completed at the beginning of 2024. Come experience this new home with high-end finishings and furnishings throughout! The house has access to a private deep water dock and is a less than .5 mile golf cart ride to the access to reach the pristine private beach.

Everything is brand new - comfy beds, high-quality furniture and finishings, flat screen smart TVs, and free fast wifi. High-end fixtures throughout the kitchen, including espresso machine, multiple coffee makers, stand mixer, air fryer, and a gas grill on the patio. Relax on the new couch and get an amazing night sleep on brand new Purple mattresses. Explore the private oversized lot and enjoy the outdoor quiet oasis under the beautiful palm trees. The Location:

Have you vacationed on a bridge less barrier island before? Palm Island, a.k.a. Don Pedro Island, a.k.a. Knight Island is a barrier island that is 7 miles long and located between Sarasota and Ft. Myers on the Gulf Coast. With sugar-sand beaches, beautiful harbors and lagoons, great fishing and shelling, Palm Island is a true oasis that is only accessible by a short car ferry ride or by private boat. Our beaches are some of the most pristine and quiet in all of coastal Florida. There are no high rises blocking your gulf views, no jammed island traffic - the roads are mostly unpaved, sandy, and frequented by golf carts. Palm Island has a truly relaxed 'old Florida' atmosphere to unwind and relax in. There is one restaurant on the island, Rum Bay, that serves lunch and dinner. There is also a yummy ice cream stand and gift store located on the island. You can take water taxis or a private boat to other nearby restaurants, grocery stores and entertainment.

Important Notes:

- access to the island is by car ferry or private boat only, ferry fees are the guests responsibility
- in accordance with current building code the home is elevated out of the flood zone, stairs are required to access the main living area of the house

Guests will have the entire home to themselves.

Other things to note:

IMPORTANT!! Palm Island is accessed ONLY by private boat OR car ferry. The ferry company charges a fee for every passenger vehicle ($55 per trip) or pedestrian ($10 per trip) from the mainland to the island, and the cost of that fee is the responsibility of the guests. The ferry has set "normal hours"* as follows:
Sunday through Thursday - 6:30AM to 10PM
Friday - 6:30AM to 11:00PM
Saturday - 6:30AM to 12:00AM
*emergency after hours access is available for a fee via Palm Island Transit company OR water taxi services
