Not too far for R&R, close to hospitals and UF

A straight shot up to UF and a simple right turn, left turn to Shands. We welcome short stay guests but also midterm rentals. Let me explain…

We are literally `Not Too Far`. `R&R` is a term my father used all the time. A military term for `Rest & Recuperation`. Dad was never in the military but both he & Mom are retired nurses. This is their home and it`s use is their legacy. Mom & Dad would offer R&R to discharged patients. These folks would stay with us for a short time before heading home farther away from the hospital.

Btw…Mom & Dad lived here for nearly 40 years. They are now living nearly responsibility free across town in a retirement community!

So, more about the house… other than the garage, you have complete access to the whole house and fenced yard.

We hope we`ve thought of everything but please let us know if you need more than the following:

>Shampoo, conditioner & body soap
>Kitchen gadgets for preparing meals
>Utensils & basic spices
>Cutting boards
>Sharp knives
>Drip coffee maker, filters, cream & sugar

>Ironing board & iron
>Extra blankets
>Board games & cards

The television is a 65” smart TV with Roku

We have a fenced in yard for your pet to explore and ask that you pickup after your pet. Also enjoy walking the neighborhood with your leashed pup. At the very back of our neighborhood is a park with equipment, community garden and trails.

It might also be important to mention, we have a designated desk space. Located in the 3rd bedroom.

You have access to the entire house minus the garage.

Quiet neighborhood and very walkable. In the very back of our neighborhood is a park with equipment, community garden & trails. Take the kids and your leashed pet to enjoy! It is also walkable to restaurants, theatre & grocery!

Ride share services like Uber are available as well as public transportation. There is a bus stop at the end of the block. If you’re headed a little further to explore local springs or adventure farther to theme parks, Hwy441 and I-75 are easily accessible from the house.
Quiet hours are 10pm-7am
NO smoking or vaping INSIDE OR ON PREMISES
Park in designated areas.
Parties will not be tolerated.
Registered guests and pets only.
