Door code would not work, after many attempts of working with the property manager they finally got a code to work, said it was because check in time is 4pm and it was 3:40pm! Main pool was completely under construction, which made the other smaller pools very crowded. Deck needs some serious work, furniture not in good shape also lights did not work. The sofa and loveseat in the great room were so badly stained we needed to put a sheet in them to be able to sit on the furniture. Guest bedroom bed so uncomfortable our guests did not sleep well. Also, there is a really bad small coming from the laundry/utility area, this should be addressed immediately. The proximity to ocean was great and the ocean/beach amazing. The area this condo is in is very noisy and busy. And, although it says pet friendly it’s not a great set up to walk your dog. We will not be returning.

Spring Break

This was a perfect location and condo for my family. The only complaint was that the double bottom bunk bed wasn't very comfortable (the mattress protector made it very hot). Great location. We enjoyed our stay!

The property was great. Great location and amenities. Pool close, par 3 golf 9 holes right on property. Close to everything on the island. We loved it and would definitely stay again.

Nice location close to everything. Dog friendly only thing that i didnt like you cant take your dog on beach. Condo was nice and clean easy access checking in. Beach acess is across street walking distance which was nice too. They have a restaurant on site pools, and tennis courts.

Destin is great

I wasn't crazy about the location I did not realize when I booked that it was so close to the highway it doesn't show you a map on the website of how they look . The bedroom floor was weak in spots it was decorated nicely and we had plenty of room for the kids

Unpleasant Experience

I rented this unit for 8 weeks, I spent considerable time dealing with issues of uncleanliness and poor maintenance of the unit. In instances where the owner refused to replace or remove malfunctioning hardware and a urine stained carpet, Southern Vacation Rentals was unable to step in and advocate in the renter's behalf. The property location description was not described properly, it is located near a very busy intersection - lots of sirens.The second bedroom does not sleep four as the description states. It has a bunk bed with the top bunk being a twin size and the bottom being a full size. It fits two adults and one child uncomfortably. The sleeper sofa (queen size) is not to be used by a renter.Sandpiper Cove itself is a wonderful facility and I would stay here again - but definitely not in this unit.Thankfully, VRBO's "Book with Confidence Guarantee" along with their excellent Customer Service area was able to support me with my situation.
