Helle und geräumige Haven - Beach Front!

I am so glad you got to know Bradley Beach as the wonderful family playground it is, and just a short train ride from NYC! Like so many of our renters, we hope you will make this a regular family vacation destination. We look forward to having you back! Mary Ann.

II’m so sorry my Jersey shore beach house did not compare to your Maryland rental. Northern New Jersey housing is more expensive because it is close to NYC, to the airports, and with a direct train line from NYC down to the shore. New Jersey beach goers do have to pay for access to the beaches, but the badges you needed came with the house so you would be prepared to just walk across the street and onto the beach. There are no houses built on the beach, so this ocean front house is as close to the ocean as you can get in Bradley Beach, as in nearly all New Jersey shore towns. Condo development like that in Maryland is just not common along the Jersey shore, so our typical Jersey beach house appeals to those who want the unique charms of these older homes (which does mean smaller closets!) I’m truly sorry you did not find those charms so appealing, but you still have every right to expect all the amenities to work properly. The contractors who were putting on the new siding (and just leaving as you arrived) did damage the rails on the deck but my handyman repaired them immediately. The air conditioner in the kitchen was indeed noisy, and if you had let me know while you were there, I could have replaced it right then, instead of after the next guests arrived (who did notify me so we could replace it then). I’m not sure why you had trouble with the refrigerator, as it continues to work perfectly. Perhaps the initial loading, or frequent door opening, was what caused it to take longer to reach your desired temperature. I’m sorry you felt that the cooling was somehow unreliable, as that is not the case.. This traditional Jersey shore beach house was obviously not what you were expecting, and I’m very concerned that you could not see from the pictures that this is an obviously older home, not a condo unit. We show a street view of the whole house, not just the interior rooms, as we absolutely want people to know what to expect and to be happy with their Jersey shore experience I am truly sorry our little beach house did not meet your expectations.
