(the RIGHT side of a split house, private entrance door)

This house is the perfect place if you want to be located close to the beach/ boardwalk and within walking distance to the restaurants and nightlife. Don't expect the Taj Mahal!

This house is the perfect beachy experience. Small but perfectly sized for a small group, and location is everything! I would stay here again because sitting on the porch and seeing the beach 200 feet away was a great memory.

Great place to stay right near beach

The place was great place to stay with friends. The house is very close to the beach and in great location. Would recommended staying again. It’s in a great location close to all restaurants, bars and near downtown Belmar. House came with a lot of amenities

We came out for a family funeral, 3 of us, and property was perfect for our needs. Extremely clean, beds were comfortable, and a bonus was that we were a block from beach with restaurants and shops. We would definitely stay again. Porch was nice also to sit outside and enjoy the beach breeze.

Property is as-described for the most part. One of the more affordable locations right next to the beach. Note, it is a duplex so if complete privacy is important, you may want to look elsewhere.

Belmar Stay

Kevin’s place was perfect for our little getaway. We were able to get in and out easily and had everything we needed.We could see the ocean from the porch while we had our morning coffee.Thanks for being a great host!

Excellent experience and Stay with VRBO and Owner.

Property Manager was very kind, and helpful. Check was very smooth, and the house was very clean and items such as dish detergent, paper towels, toilet paper, linens, kitchen tableware, etc. were provided. I was also able to check in earlier a PLUS. I rate this an overall 10!!!!

Good location

The location of the place is really good. If youre going to be out and about then this place is a good choice to sleep and be out. We enjoyed the patio a lot but inside needs some work. Make sure to bring toiletries and towels.

We stayed 4 nights specifically to go to the beach. The beach was great.Overall the place was as advertised.The eating utensils were plastic.The futon in the living area was hard to sleep on with a bar in the middle of your back.There was no outdoor shower. The grill was hard to start.On the other hand, the manager who shares the porch, was very helpful.The porch area was a lovely area to get together with the family.

Small beach house in an AMAZING location. The property manager is very personable, reponsive, and helpful!The property is about average and could definitely use a few upgrades. I would have felt more comfortable if there were more window treatments throughtout the home. The front porch provides a nice outdoor space with a table/chairs and a ceiling fan. However, the backyard needs a major aesthetic upgrade! We didn't need to think twice about not going back there! The home was pretty clean, but the mattress in one of the bedrooms was dirty. The refrigerator never seemed to get cold enough so we froze some of our food until we needed it. Not a horrible stay, but I wouldn't book again until/unless upgrades were made.

Nice weekend stay, close to beach

This place was nice to rent for MDW with some friends. It was clean, very close to the beach (2 min walk away), and was in a great area. Was also a walk away from restaurants and bars. A few disappointments that future renters should be aware of. The listing states shower towels, shampoo, conditioner, and soap would be provided and NONE of these were. They also do NOT have WiFi. So if your looking to connect your phone, a device, or watch TV you can’t. All in all, a pretty solid listing.

Great, centrally located base for small group

The Beach House was exactly the base that our small group needed for a weekend down the shore. The highlight of the house is its location; it is quite the find being located in the first block from the beach, and it's a short walk away from restaurants and nightlife and a short drive away from Point Pleasant, Seaside, and other shore destinations. The house was comfortable, with air conditioners, towels, extra linens, and utensils and dishes, and the futon was easy to use. Refrigerator had a cool retro look. We really enjoyed sitting on the porch in the morning with coffee from the Keurig machine. Based on our experience, the listing accurately represents the property. The checkin and checkout process was straightforward, and the host was accessible for questions. Overall, we would recommend for anyone who needs a good base for a trip down the shore.

No frills beach house

The house is close to the beach, which is primarily why we chose it. Apart from the location, it's nothing special - a small house for basic needs. It had been updated recently with new appliances and floors and we liked that coffee was supplied. The furniture seemed new too, but also very basic. The bed frames are cheap, so they were not very comfortable - the bunk bed was extremely squeaky, and in the other room, the mattress kept falling off the side of the frame, making it sag on one side. The couch can be used as a bed too, but as a couch it's not very comfortable. There’s a nice smart tv, but no wifi, so be sure you can use your phone as a hotspot as we did or you will have zero to watch. Overall it was fine and we enjoyed our vacation, but we would probably look for an upgrade next time.

Dangerous!

Bathtub was very dangerous. no non-slip mat and no grab bars. Husband fell and couldn't get up. No internet so no TV. Microwave didn't work right. Couch was very uncomfortable to sit and there was nowhere else. Silverware was 1 fork and 1 knife only. It took forever to get in touch with anyone and they didn't care. Backyard was disgusting to even look at. It was the worst place we ever spent time at, and we have traveled a lot.

The guest had terrible communication. They were Incredibly rude and demanding. Caused damage to the bathroom fixtures and stained the couch. Very inconsiderate and left a mess. Did not take any time to read our description and amenities of the house and used a bad review as threat and called me bad names when I tried to help them through some problems. Would not recommend them to anyone. Worst guest since using vrbo.
