Newly constructed in January 2023 with custom finishes, Mountain Gem Hideaway is a 2 bedroom, 1 bath cabin nestled on a hilltop in Cowee Valley overlooking western North Carolina mountains. This beautiful 2 bedroom, 1 bath home is the perfect spot for couples to escape and recharge! It's the perfect place to relax after a long day of adventures. Access to the cabin is paved roads right up to the front door. So you don’t need a 4 wheel drive vehicle. Mountain Gem Retreat is only 7 miles to downtown Franklin, 23 miles to Sylva, 24 miles to Bryson City, and 35 miles to Cherokee. The possibilities of fun are endless. Come relax on the covered deck and watch the sunset or in the 5 person jacuzzi after a full day of hiking. Show off your cooking skills both indoor and out. The Mountain Gem has a spacious kitchen with stainless steel appliances and is stocked with various cookware for the chef in you to enjoy. If it’s BBQ you prefer, there’s a custom built fire pit and BBQ area just outside below the deck with a gas BBQ grille (propane always included), Adirondack chairs and picnic table for outdoor dining in the fresh mountain air.

A few things to note: The property is located in a small community but still offers privacy. We have Starlin for optimal streaming and wifi. We welcome dogs and there is a strict NO SMOKING policy inside the home.
We ask that you dispose of your tobacco trash in a water bottle!
