1800er Vintage Blockhaus auf North Carolina Forellen Stream. Gelegen in den schönen Bergen von Franklin, NC. A 1 Schlafzimmer, 1 Badezimmer Kabine mit Klaue Fuß Badewanne, Küche mit Holz Herd, Mikrowelle, Keurig Kaffeemaschine, antiken Kühlschrank, Gasgrill, und ein Wohnzimmer / Esszimmer kombiniert mit gestapelten Kamin und Liegesofa. Das Hotel liegt an einem privaten Teich mit Wasserfall, Pavillon und Badehöhle. Tolles Anwesen, um der Hektik des Lebens zu entfliehen und sich mit der Natur zu verbinden. Schlaf 2, aber Liege kann 2 andere schlafen oder Luftmatratze ist willkommen!

Bath by the creek

This was a very unique stay. From the wood stove and fireplace to the babbling creek and bath. We had a great relaxing stay and appreciated the time to disconnect. Like stepping back in time with modern conveniences.

Relaxing in Paradise

My wife, dogs and I had an amazing getaway . We spent most of our time relaxing and taking in all the amazing scenery. We made several trips to many national parks that weren’t very far away seeing many waterfalls and other beautiful sceneries. Ate some delicious food and had wonderful conversations with friendly patrons and staff at several local restaurants. Our favorite was Ms. Lois’ Restaurant.

Halloween stay

This is our second time staying and it was every bit as good. I cant recommend it highly enough. We built a roaring fire and listened to ghost stories after dinner. There is a trout stream on the property and perfect for a little fly fishing. My wife took many baths in the large claw footed tub. If you need to get away, look no further.

Paradise!

The stay was amazing, the property was a dream! I only wish we had more time to stay and relax at the beautiful cabin. I loved sitting on the back deck and listening to the creek! Oir son loved trying to catch a trout, no luck though. My wife loved taking pictures of everything on the property, especially the covered bridge.

Amazing place!

Great on the creek location. The rushing waters just relax you. Beautifully done rustic cabin, everything you need from gliders, lounge chairs hovering over the waters edge to coffee makers and fans. The huge tub and cozy bathroom was so peaceful we wanted to blow up a mattress and sleep there. It was perfect for our dog too, who immediately ran to the creek, splashed and then hopped through the open fields. If you want to unplug for awhile, cozy up to a campfire, and unwind. You found it. We Will Be Back

You really just cant put into words the atmosphere and early 1900 / modern experience. The cabin is amazing. The landscape is amazing. The owners are amazing. It truly is a "shutdown" experience with, yet, plenty to do along side the river which has many entry points as well as a swimming hole that is 8 ft deep. We love love loved this place and will be back many times to come. Thank you, Robin for your attention to deal and request for would and floats. Sandy and I are jealous and will see you soon.

Air conditioner was listed as an amenity. It wouldn't cool the home down below 84 degrees. When asked about it, I was told I could leave the doors and windows open at night. Did not feel safe at with this host and left after the first night.

Annual mountain trip

Every summer we take a week to go to the Carolina mountains. This was our first time to Franklin, NC and the cabin. It was an absolutely wonderful vacation. The cabin and the property are both amazing. The raging creek is right at the back doors and the sound and coolness from it will put you in total relaxation as soon as you arrive.We brought our 5 yr old dog and she loved roaming the property and swimming at the swimming hole. The property is beautiful!!! So relaxing with a wide stream running along it and in back of the rustic cabin. Trails for hiking. If you want to get off the grid this is the place for you. The hosts were great as well!

Unplugged Peace and Quiet

Loved everything about our stay! I’ve booked several cabins over the years for weekend getaways with my partner and this is one of our favorites. We loved the elegance and simplicity of the place. Our family has truly enjoyed this cabin and property. The kids love swimming onsite in the swimming hole, fishing in the creek (we stock regularly), and I personally enjoy reading and doing yoga on the deck. We are happy to share this little piece of heaven to the occasional rental. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
