Stay was disappointing because they didn't address either of the 2 items that were broken in the Vrbo. They, like a good host, sent a message on day one and asked that if there was anything that would keep me from giving a 5 star review to let them know so they could fix it. So after the first night I mentioned that the light switch in my grandmother's bedroom was broken and that I was worried about her falling because she would have to walk the entire length of the room in the dark to get to the only working light. Day 2 I also realized that the AC wasn't working so I told them about that and how important it was to us. My 80yr old grandmother doesn't do well with heat and my partner and I struggle to sleep. On day 4 I was told that the building maintenance team was too busy to send anyone. I was also told that the AC was out for scheduled maintenance. This is understandable but what wasn't acceptable is that they didn't inform us of this prior to our stay. I would have changed my booking if I'd known, it got well up into the 80s for a few days when we were there. It only really distributed our sleep for 5 out of the 7 days we were there but this did significantly impact our ability to function and enjoy all of the activities that we had planned. I asked for 1/3 of the daily rate be refunded for just those 5 days and they placated me till I checkout out and then ghosted me. The Vrbo team can't even get a hold of the management company that operates this Vrbo. DO NOT RISK IT.
