Charming 2 bedroom 2 bathroom home with pool in Sarasota with central location.

Unfortunately, my experience with this guest was very awful. When they checked out, the house was left in extremely poor condition. A neighbor informed me that there had been loud noise during their stay, multiple cars coming and going.The neighbor met me in the driveway upon their departure and was concerned the property would be left a mess — and it was. The guests did not clean up after themselves. The kitchen sink was clogged, dirty dishes were left throughout the home, and there was chewed gum found on a nightstand. They also left broken toys, empty boxes scattered both inside and outside, and even some of their clothing in various rooms. Prior to checkout, the guest asked to extend their stay. Unfortunately, the home was already booked, so I referred them to a nearby rental owned by a friend. As a favor, I dropped off a lease agreement in the mailbox since the owner lived three hours away. I did not “follow” them as the guest later claimed. The guest sent me several inappropriate and spiteful text messages, which led me to block their number. I later learned from the homeowner that neighbors had to call the sheriff’s department during the guest's stay. I would not recommend this guest to other hosts.

Unfortunately, there was a system error due to the calendars of two vacation rental companies no syning properly, which resulted in a double booking of the property. As soon as I became aware of the issue, I took immediate action by contacting both companies. The corrected the glitch. Although the error was not on our end, I orrdered the host an additional night at no cost to resolve the situation. I personally went to the property to perepare it for the new guests, which included thoroughly sweeping and mopping all floors. As I was en route to the airport, I ckindly asked the guest to update the electronic door code to avoid missing my flight. The pool was resurfaced 18 months ago, and I'm unsure what the guest was refering to as far as the broken tile. I was unaware that two lower lanai screens had become loose. The globe lights around the pool were installed by an electrician who recently inspected them and confirmed they were functioning properly. Lawn care was temporarily delayed du to storms. Both the property owners and I take great pride in maintaining the home and proptly addressing an issues to endure all guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
