The bedrooms and bathrooms are just very old looking. The condo was sufficient for our stay, just wasn't as nice as other condos we have stayed in the past.

We have stayed in a lot of areas in Destin & the area of Shoreline Towers is by far one of the better locations. Beach is not overly crowded and it is close to everything. McDonalds, Groceries, Cracklings(old "Another Broken Egg cafe) and close to a lot of Great eating places. This unit needs a few updates. Appliances were very dated. Large bathroom shower doors either need to be cleaned properly or be replaced. The mattresses were not very comfortable either.

Reviewer Comments: We traveled with three adults, one teen, and a nine year old and arrived late Saturday night. Pros:Getting in the gate was easy. The condo was clean and as described. The free beach chair service is fantastic! The towels were nice. Ashley in the office was very friendly. Convenient location to local attractions. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the balcony with the ocean in view. Cons: Crawling into bed after a long travel day, we found the mattresses had no pads on them, so decided to sleep on top of the sheets. However, there was sand on the top sheet. Bedding could use updated and improved. All of the beds are terribly uncomfortable. There is no maintenance on call for weekends. There was a foul smell in the master shower that started on day 2. It was reported with no response. Issue:On Sunday, we found the garbage disposal clogged and didn’t allow the sink to drain properly. Then, toilet in the main bathroom broke. We left a message and had to wait. The office called around 9:30 am and sent someone to look at it. He fixed the sink, but the toilet he couldn’t. Later that day we took the check-in form to the office and inquired about the toilet. At that time we were told a plumber had been called. When the plumber came he said something had to be ordered and the earliest it would get fixed would be Wednesday. For almost our whole trip we had one working toilet for five people which was in the master bedroom. Privacy was lost for us and disrupted our sleep for those who needed the bathroom at night or early morning. The office manager failed to communicate any updates of what the status was, (we had to ask) not even to apologize for the inconvenience. Things happen, but the lack of response or even general lack of caring was upsetting. I did email her about my concerns, but still do not think she cared or saw my point.

Reviewer Comments: This was our first trip to Destin so we had no perspective as to where to stay, what to do, how to get there, good restaurants, etc. Shoreline Towers was a great location. The condo was clean and very roomy. The management company incredibly helpful (especially Eloisa). Beautiful view of the beach from our beachside balcony. One unexpected item was the fact that each condo was almost sound-proof! Since we were there with teenagers who like to play loud music, I was very concerned about disrupting our neighbors. Several times while the girls were playing music, I stepped outside our door to make sure it wasn't too loud.... couldn't hear a peep. This sounds like a trivial thing, but it was a big deal with several teenage girls.... especially when you combine laughing, giggling, music and generally having a great time! Absolutely loved the gigantic bathroom as well. We didn't use the swimming pool or fitness facility (since we spent all available time at the beach) but we did explore these amenities and they looked clean, inviting and in good condition. La Paz, the Mexican food restaurant next to Shoreline Towers, was amazing! GREAT margaritas! (after dealing with all these teenagers, my sister and I deserved margarita or 2!)

Condo 3036 was beautiful from décor to how fully equipped the condo was. It had everything we needed in the kitchen for cooking and in our bedrooms. The access to the storage room was also very convenient from beach toys for our kids to chairs and umbrella. The short walk to the beach was also a plus. We will definitely visit shoreline towers again next year. Our only downfall was there was a storm passing through so we got 2 days of rain and the power went out in our tower but other than that our stay was excellent!

The rental is located in Tower 3 which is a very short walk to the beach. I enjoyed not having the closer towers since the walk to the beach was the only exercise I did on this vacation. The towers have luggage carriers for convience of carrying in groceries also! This rental also had a storage key that had many amenities such as chairs, floaties, and an umbrella. I will definitely rebook with this rental in the future.
