Our stay was PERFECT! The unit was well stocked and has everything you need The beach is less than a 5 minute walk If your not up for the beach, the heated pool will do nicely I would describe the location as quiet and beautiful Will definitely stay again

Great condo

We loved the quiet location of this condo. The owners are super nice and helpful. Anything we needed they responded quickly. Its a lovely short walk to the beach, wildlife, clean area. We loved Marco and will be back!

Fantastic Property

Our family really enjoyed this property. The condo was clean with all the amenities we needed. The area was quiet and not overcrowded. we enjoyed coffee every morning on the balcony with great views. The pool was the perfect size and also never crowded with plenty of seating. Short walk to the beach and other attractions on Marco. Property owner was very helpful. We will definetly return.

Wonderful Stay

This was our second stay here, and it was just as enjoyable as the first. The unit has new microwave, dishwasher, and washer/dryer, as well as some new light fixtures. Everything you need for a home away from home. We found ourselves spending most of our time at the condo rather than going out - enjoying the pool or sitting on the balcony and watching the pelicans and other wildlife go by. Very relaxing. And the owners are very helpful and pleasant - it really made for a thoroughly enjoyable stay.

Scenic view

This review is being written by RA - the spouse of the renter. This was a very relaxing stay. My favorite aspect is the view from the balcony. I love being near water, and the view of the canal is excellent. It is near enough to the gulf that there is plenty of wildlife activity to watch - many birds, and even a dolphin now and then. We enjoyed it so much we extended the stay another month (see my husband’s review of that!). We are very happy with our stay.

Fantastic villa we had a fab time here with our two daughters aged 4 and 1 they loved the pool and all the kids films that were there to watch. the location is ideal maccronniss beach is great. The villa was perfect everything you could possibly need and was very clean. Julie was most helpful with any needs such as requiring a cot and will definetly be looking into going back next year. craig torrance

Absolutely lovely villa with everything you need

We arrived late and the villa was lit up by different coloured lights all around the garden and pool ,looked beautiful. Inside we found everything we could need for our stay, the place was spotless. The pool was cleaned by Allister who is a smashing bloke and will help in any way he can. Graet position for all the beaches and ayis napa only 10 min drive down nissi avenue. This is a perfect place for peace and quiet but with more if you want it Not one negative really, me and my wife loved it and will probably be back again next year Thanks Julie :)

Relaxing with wonderful scenery

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The unit was very clean on move in. It was also well equipped and had new appliances. The owners were very nice and helpful, as were the other owners/renters in the condo development. The pool was very well kept up, and spacious considering there are only ten units in the complex. The beach (and the Sunset Grille) is less than a ten minute walk with very easy beach access. One of the things we enjoyed the most was the balcony overlooking the canal. We saw dolphins and manatees in the canal, as well as ospreys, pelicans, mockingbirds, cardinal, doves, and other bird life. Perfect scenery to go with a nice glass of wine while you are relaxing! Highly recommended!!

Perfect vacation!

This villa was perfect for our needs in every way. The children spent every spare moment enjoying the good sized pool which is always in the sun whilst my husband and I took the opportunity to soak up the sun and relax on swinging seat! It was so nice to be staying in a villa that is not overlooked by others at the back and so gave us a real feeling of 'getting away from it all'. The villa is very well equipped and we certainly were not left wanting for anything. I would advise hiring a car if renting this villa as it is slightly out from the main areas but that is its appeal. We enjoyed exploring the different beaches and restaurants on offer. In terms of booking, Julie could not have been more helpful. Everything ran so smoothly. I would certainly consider a return visit.

Thaliana Gardens 2010

We booked via Holiday Rentals for the first two weeks in August. Arrived at the villa to be greeted by the sparkling water of the swimming pool. The villa was exactly like the photographs. The villa is well maintained and has everything on site that you need for that home from home holiday We found Ayia Thekla a great base for our daily trips whether it was locally to Ayia Napa/Protaras or further afield to Nicosia and Larnaka Alistair who looks after the pool popped by most days always checking to see if everything was ok and using his local knowledge was able to suggest local sightseeing trips for us. Whether you are looking for a get away from it all or the buzz of busy bars and clubs Thaliana Gardens is a great place to base yourself relax by the pool during the day and head of into Ayia Napa or Protaras for the night. Restaurants to suit every palet within a ten minute drive whether it be Chinese/Mexican/Fast Food or our own favourite was Potamos at Potamos Harbour /you will find directions to these and many more in the information folder at the villa . Comfortable Condo & Great Location!

What an amazing location! Great spot! First, the walkability to the beach is fantastic. Seriously took about 7-8 min to be on the beach and seated. Love being so close to a beach access. Second, this condo was so quiet. Only 10 units in this condo complex so often we had the lovely heated pool that looks out over the canal all to ourselves. We never heard anything at night when sleeping, either. Also, having a close parking spot (covered parking under condo) was a bonus. The condo was extremely clean. Pamela communicates quickly and answers questions right away. There are 3 bedrooms but we only needed the primary bedroom. Next thing that is always high on my list is a comfortable bed: we both slept amazingly well. Very comfortable (plus so quiet). Loved the two different balconies. One off the living room and another small one off the primary bedroom upstairs. We usually enjoyed a glass of wine to watch the moonrise, or a cup of coffee to watch the sunrise in the morning on the main balcony that overlooks the canal. So pretty and peaceful. Living area had two super comfortable couches. A smaller TV but had all the channels and apps we needed. There is a great extra space set up with a desk. As a writer, I was able to easily enjoy long, productive writing sessions there each morning. So this is perfect if you need to do any remote work. We walked to the Sunset grill for drinks, dinner and to watch the sunset a few times. We would totally book again. Enjoy!

Wonderful unit and location. The condo was spotless with great natural light and views of the pool and channel. It was also walking distance to the beautiful beach on Marco Island. The host was readily available for any questions and gave us great tips on Marco Island. We will be back.

We loved the location. Walked the gorgeous beach every day... no need to drive. A few restaurants within walking distance. The pool was wonderful although it will be renovated soon as needed. Loved the wildlife right from the balcony! Osprey, ibis, pelicans, manatees, even a tarpon! We did have some communication problems but worked it out. Be clear about how many will be staying with you. I loved the neighborhood and would go back.

Another fantastic stay in this beutiful villa

Thanks for another fantastic holiday. We stayed last year and thought that everything was perfect then, but this time it just got better :) All of the outside furniture is new and the grounds are being well looked after, the pool is always kept pristine by Allister who as always is more than happy to help if needed. Inside the villa is absolutely immaculate with everything from games to wifi to keep you entertained I would recommend this villa to anyone who wants sun, peace and 5* accommodation Thanks Ian and Jayne D

I booked this villa through Julie for 2 weeks in August 2010, Julie was brilliant from the start, as a non swimmer I am a nightmare with pools I need to know about the depth, how much space at the shallow end etc ect she spent about half an hour assuring me it would be fine and when I got there it was, it didn't matter how many time I called her or e-mailed her she always took the time to talk to me or replied to my mail straight away. She sent me directions to the villa and it couldn't have been easier to get there even though it was 2am and very dark. The villa was lovely and clean when we arrived, we more or less went straight to bed on arrival and the beds were really comfortable, it was a god send to have air con in both bedrooms as at the time Cyprus was having a heat wave it was the hottest it had been for about 10 years which was about 45.5 / 46 and the humidity was worst to hot to do anything. The villas is set in a nice area very quite but near enough to all the major attractions of Ayia Napa , Nissi Beach. Alistair looks after the pool and general diy of the villa and calls most days to ensure the pool is clean, he never minds how much time he spends with you giving information on how to get to places, where to eat, and lets you know the best attractions. The best restaurant by far is The Gardens on the main Ayia Napa road the food is fantastic and the service first class my tip is try the vegetarian Vol au vent they are to die for. Ayia Napa is really busy but has a great selection of bars and restaurants. Back to the villa it's a real home from home with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The only down side for me was the veiw from the garden, there isn't one really and you overlook a large piece of wasteland that nobody ever looks after, which means there is rather a lot of wild life that I'm sorry to say I'm not that keen on especially when it starts to visit the garden. There could have been a few little extra's that would have helped like a couple of umbrellas (the ones there were broken) a couple of the sun beds were a little uncomfortable , I'm sure anyone renting this villa will have a great time.

We’ve worked hard to keep this villa simple, clean, and comfortable—a true sanctuary for stargazing, shelling, and boat-watching. Whether you are here to fish from the dock, stroll to Resident’s Beach, or simply relax by the pool, we hope you find the same "island magic" that we fell in love with all those years ago.

A few quick tips for your stay:

Sunrise/Sunset: The viewing deck off the master bedroom is the best seat in the house.

Exploring: Caxambas Park and the white sands of the South End are just a short stroll away.

Relax: You have one of only ten spots at our quiet, heated waterfront pool.

Make yourself at home, enjoy the Gulf breeze, and have a truly unforgettable stay.
