Charming 2 bedroom cottage with hot tub on large 40-acre Farmhouse property with creek, ponds, and wooded trails in Brazil, IN. Completely renovated cozy interior perfect for a quiet weekend getaway or couple’s retreat, business trip, college visit, festival home-base, or week-long vacation. We are 5 minutes north of the town of Brazil, 20 minutes east of Terre Haute (Indiana State University and the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology), 20 minutes south of Raccoon Lake State Recreation area for hiking, swimming, boating and other activities, and an hour west of Indianapolis (Lucas Oil Stadium and Indianapolis Motor Speedway). We have ample parking available so bring your boat, jet skis, and trailer! We are also just 11 miles south of the Bridgeton Covered Bridge and close to all Covered Bridge Festival activities.

Creekside Cottage has a gated front entrance that shares a gravel driveway with Farmhouse. Cottage is at the front of the 40 acre property next to the creek that runs the length of the gravel driveway. Guests have access to cottage property, creek, and wooded trails leading to 2 ponds where you can catch catfish, bass and bluegill from the shoreline.

Some special highlights of the property are the covered outdoor patio lounge with 6 person hot tub, TV, gas firepit and sitting area; back deck with picnic table, charcoal grill and cushioned chairs; large front lawn; outdoor creekside sitting area with swing and hammock; and indoor pool table, foosball table and dart board.

You will have access to the entire cottage and surrounding property, with the exception of a locked utility closet under stairway and storage shed across from the cottage.
