The Rustic River Retreat is amazing! We loved the multi-level living spaces and wide array of things to do including arcade games, hot tub and just relaxing and visiting in the many comfortable living spaces. We will be back, this is a fantastic property in a great location.

We had a great stay. The multi-level deck and spacious interior was perfect entertaining our friends and family. The host was responsive to all communications and very curtious. And last but certainly not least the setting, overlooking the river, was fantastic. Would highly recommend to anyone!

Great stay...we needed one more day!!

Property was perfect get away for meeting friends for the weekend keeping kiddos, dads, and dogs entertained during January deep freeze. Kitchen was well stocked, beds were comfy, and it was amazingly quiet between levels. Looks like it would be twice as much fun in summer...we will be back!

Fun family gathering spot!

We met for a family weekend in BRF. The house had plenty of space, comfy furniture and accommodations for our group of 9. Was even better because we could include our family dogs! Enjoyed the decks and pool table/ping pong table! Highly recommend for a big group!

Amazing property!

This property was gorgeous. We only had two people in our party staying here, but can see why this house would be perfect for families with kids! Right on the water with the most gorgeous view. Lots of spots to entertain the whole family. Kayaks and water floats to use. Three decks with an outdoor tiki bar. Pool table and bar inside. Not only is the property amazing, but Olivia the main contact is so friendly and easy to talk to and responds so quick! We knew we were in good hands here. We can’t wait to use book this next year!

Amazing property and host

This property is absolutely amazing. Spent the weekend here for a reunion of college friends and it couldn't have been more perfect. We had 10 guys and there was plenty of space not only for sleeping but for a range of activities throughout the day. There are 2 huge sectionals with large TVs for different viewing preferences, a pool table, bar with another TV, arcade games, a large dining table for playing cards, and a very large breakfast bar to hang out at in the kitchen. Unfortunately due to our selection of time of year we couldn't utilize what appeared to be the best part of the property, the outdoor spaces. There's a multilevel deck with an outdoor bar and amazing view of the river just steps below. Olivia was an exceptional host as well. Wonderful communication and willing to help with any issues. We were already talking about a return next year!

Family trip

The property was very pretty however many things were broke and dirty. Ping pong table and 1 arcade game was broke. The windows were filthy i do not think they have ever been clraned. The screen door was off so we put it back on. Almost all the chairs atound the fire were broke. There was no paddle board. Kayaks were there but both back rest were broke. Went tobuse propane grill and ran out extra was empty. We did get reimbursed for that but it was the hastlw of it when you pay what we paid to stay. Everyone loved the house and property just not real well kept. I wanted to pull weeds and clean the windows so bad. Glass cabinet by door was very dirty inside. Lots of stairs harder if you have older people with you just so you are aware. We saw a flat bottom boat in pic but that was also not there.

Hi Jodi, thank you again for staying. We were very surprised by your review, especially after communicating with your mom via text the entire stay! We are very sorry to hear of all this stuff during your stay. We wish you would’ve mentioned anything to us in the continuous texts sent over your stay so that some could have been helped. Your mother had been in contact with my personal cell phone daily. We also texted your mom about our chairs being broken by a group before your stay, she was very empathetic and noted to bring lawn chairs. We have since put together lovely new Adirondack chairs for around it! After review my cleaner said the peddle boat is right by the 4 kayaks we advertise. I also verified in a text with your mom what water toys we have, as well it’s listed directly in the listing. I had the cleaners check out the arcade games as our previous guests used them and they were all functioning. All turned on and worked properly. We gladly let people know how to turn them off if they’re having difficulty. Golden tee is tricky and on top of the machine. We also have had guests use the ping pong table since your stay multiple times so we’re unsure what was broken about it? Again any messages about this stuff would have been great, especially with photos so we know! As far as the propane running out we are so sorry and reimbursed you to fill it up. I understand it’s inconvenient but my cleaners just didn’t know it was low. We have now removed the propane grill from property so that this doesn’t happen again. The windows in the main living room are tricky, they are triple paned so the inside is not accessible. We wash the inside and outside but the inner pane appears slight cloudy and unfortunately besides replace all the windows we have no way to change that. We are sorry again to hear that this property was not the best fit for your group. We invite other guests to read the rest of our 5 star reviews on this platform and other platforms (available upon request).
