New Build! 🌻 Sunflower Cottage🌻 Summer Getaway! On 2 Acres!

You will be staying at our Sunflower Cottage. Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. This is a brand new rental built in 2023. We are situated on two acres. There is an enclosed backyard with barbecue grill, utensils, dining table, chairs & small outdoor gas fire pit for the chilly, winter nights to enjoy. Activities include an abundance of hiking and biking trails. We’re in close proximity to Grand Canyon, Snowbowl, Lowell Observatory, Sedona, Lake Mary. Downtown Flagstaff offers many quaint restaurants, gift shops, bakeries and lively bars. Come visit the historic Route 66! Our rental is located on a dirt road, adjacent to Hwy 89. In March we will be undergoing road and front yard drainage improvements by the county

The comfiest beds!

The Sunflower cottage was lovely! It was clean and had the absolute comfiest beds we’ve ever had at a vacation rental! There is a gas stove which I loved and they had extra things like ziplock bags and spices which helped out a lot. It’s right off the highway which is convenient and we’d stay again.

Sunflower Cottage review

Great place to base ourselves and run around, feels like home every time we came back to the cottage from an outing of each day. We love love loved it. Will definitely stay here again on our next vacation.

The cottage was absolutely perfect and fully furnished with everything you could need. It was centrally located to everything you would want to do in that part of Arizona. There is currently some construction going on near the front of the house but that did not change the stunning view of the fully equipped backyard to relax in. The beds are the comfiest beds we have ever stayed at on top of that. It is the perfect home away from home and my wife and I loved staying at this cottage!

Clean and Easy Access

This property was perfect for our two night stay in Flagstaff. The location allowed for easy highway access for our one-day trip to Page, AZ. The property was clean and a great view of the mountains.

Beyond Expectations

The Sunflower Cottage was the absolute perfect getaway we needed to escape the desert heat here in Tucson. We could not believe how clean and well kept this cottage was. Although we brought our own condiments and spices, etc.,there was really no need as Regina & Dave had stocked everything so well. The Mountain View from the back fenced yard is outstanding and as a special treat on the morning we left there were five bull elk feeding just outside of the fence. If you are considering a trip to the Flagstaff area and need a homebase that is pretty much as good as it gets… Look no further. The Sunflower Cottage will not disappoint. Regina And Dave, thank you so, so much for the perfect getaway.

Arizona Adventure

The location of this adorable cottage is perfect for those visiting the Grand Canyon, Sedona, Route 66, and all the towns, sights and experiences in the area. The cottage was immaculately clean, well-stocked and tastefully decorated. The one and only negative was the government project going on in the front yard. This is certainly not the fault of the owners, but I hope its completed next time I visit! I will definitely be back.

Perfect Cottage with Breathtaking View

The cottage was amazing with a breathtaking view of the snow capped mountains!! It is conveniently located near Flagstaff and Grand Canyon but had an out-of-town feel. There was a sufficient amount of linens for our entire stay, and the kitchen was well stocked with all the utensils and pots/pans needed. The hosts were close enough to help if needed, but they didn’t bother us. We arrived a little early, and they allowed us to check in with no problem. I HIGHLY recommend this property!!

Sunflower cottage getaway

We absolutely adored the sunflower cottage. The pictures do not do it justice. You can see that Regina went out of her way to make sure the cottage is just ike home, She has all the amenities and a few you haven’t thought of! We would absolutely stay again. And I would recommend It to anyone who is looking for a beautifull and comfortable place to stay.

This is the most well stocked rental that we had stayed in super clean. Everything is brand new and extremely well stocked when I say well stock, I mean, tons of fresh towels that are available extra blankets pillows, all kinds of condiments that are brand new in the refrigerator and pantry even a woodburning blog to use which we took advantage and made s’mores in their fire pit

Grand Canyon and all the parks!

We stayed in Flagstaff as our base camp for all of our site seeing and this place was perfect! Right off of the main road and we did not have to get in city traffic to go most of the places we went, which, was a major bonus for us. This house is the true definition of home away from home. The host have supplied this house with all of the things you need and even some of them you didn’t think about. We thought we would buy a cheap little cooler when we got there to pack drinks and sandwiches, nope, there is one there to use that is perfect. There was an umbrella, ice scraper (thank goodness we didn’t need that). So many little things that added up to saving us so much money not having to buy them for a week long trip(salt,pepper,flour,sugar,spices,etc) This is absolutely the best VRBO I have stayed in!!!

Lovely little cottage

Property was great, right off of hwy 89 its easy to get everywhere fast. The cottage has everything you need including a first aid kit and basic spices which was great. Its beautifully finished and the hosts are super nice. We had a great weekend hiking and fishing. The cottage was a great air conditioned retreat after a long summer day outside.

Grand Canyon/Sedona visit

We went to Flagstaff for a vacation and a visit to Sedona and the Grand Canyon. It was our first time renting a cottage ( we typically would stay in hotels). The cottage was as advertised. Regina couldn’t have been nicer. She was always quick to respond to any questions or requests we had. She had many personal touches that made it seem like a home away from home. The cottage was very clean and comfortable and had everything needed for a stay. Centrally located with easy access to the roads and freeways we needed for our travels.. I would definitely recommend this cottage if traveling to Flagstaff

We Loved the Sunflower Cottage!

The Sunflower Cottage was a lovely landing place for us during our visit to the Grand Canyon. The cottage was clean and thoughtfully decorated and equipped with anything we could have needed for our stay. Regina was very responsive and helpful. Beautiful cottage

The location of this cottage is perfect just far enough away but not too far from stores. The cottage is very beautiful and nicely set up. The Host of this home has their guest in mind. You will not need worry if forgot something. Beds were oh my gosh so comfy. I have nothing bad to say at all. Outside and inside absolutely beautiful. Thank you sunflowe cottage. Lots of high tech stuff n things. Perfect!!

Great stay

Very clean and nice property. Worked great for our needs and was much more comfortable than a hotel. Only negative which is very minor was the shower/tub was very slippery.
