It is an ideal place to relax, barbecue, picnic at small lakes and hike on nature trails. Major shopping centers are 10-20 minutes away: Bass Pro, Walmart, Home Depot, Scheels, movie theaters and chain restaurants. The small town of Monument includes gift shops, small coffee nooks, and specialty eating places. Spruce Mountain Events Center is 7 minutes away and Jellystone at Larkspur is 12 minutes away.
