Makaria Azul offers a unique floor plan with 4 bedrooms (3 Kings, 1 Queen 2 Fulls) and a loft with an additional Queen bed, in a split plan that can be connected with a doorway—perfect for groups, families, and friends! All will have access to the private (seasonally heated with additional fee) pool and putting green, and 2 decks to watch the sunrise, sunset, and fireworks shows in Port A! Welcome to Makaira Azul! You'll enjoy great parking space, up to 5 vehicles, depending on size, in the golf cart zone and does allow boat parking. Makaira Azul is perfectly located on a corner lot for guests to enjoy more privacy.

Guests can rent a golf cart from Coastal Eds! We encourage you to book the golf cart with Coastal Eds as soon as possible, we cannot guarantee availability if you choose to delay booking.

Makaira Azul Beach House has a perfect floor plan for groups and families! It is a large main house and a smaller connected apartment with a hallway and doorway connected on the inside of the house. For more privacy between the 2, simply close the 2 doors, and when everyone wants to be together, simply open the 2 doors.

Entry into the main house, you'll enjoy a spacious living area with front deck access (perfect for catching sunrises) a well-stocked large kitchen with kitchen island and bar stools along with dining table and chairs. This main house offers a King Bedroom, with direct access to the front balcony, and a full bathroom on this main entry floor. Heading upstairs, you'll have 2 more bedrooms, 1 King Bed with 2 full over full bunks, and 1 Queen bed in the loft, along with a full hall bathroom for easy use for both bedrooms.

Heading through the 2 doorways (which can be easily left open), you'll have a smaller, yet full kitchen, another spacious living area, dining space, a King Bedroom, a full bathroom with stackable laundry, and upstairs another queen bedroom with half bath. From this space, you have direct access to the back deck.

The backyard at Makaira Azul lacks nothing for Port A vacationers - a putting green, private pool, sun loungers, outdoor dining, and a grill. It's the perfect oasis for your getaway!

- Construction is always happening somewhere in Port Aransas; we can’t guarantee that you won’t hear/see construction, building, or community improvement projects and events during your stay.
- Cable/WIFI is provided as a convenience; Port A does experience outages from time to time. Services can be intermittent on an island.
- Please remember that you are on an island; mosquitos/pests can be plentiful several times per year. Our properties are treated by a professional pest control service every 4-8 weeks.
- Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in this home. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval there is a fine of $500 per pet.
- Pool heat is available for an additional fee but must be requested at least 48 hours in advance.
- Please note: Pool heat will not be available for the summer months (May - September).
- Please note that the maximum occupancy includes infants and babies. Ensure that the total number of guests, including little ones, adheres to the specified occupancy limit.
- Guests must be 21 years or older to book this home.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff.

We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.

IDs will be requested for verification after booking. All bookings over 28 days require a security deposit.
