An Amazing Home With An Even Better Host

Overall, I found this home to be extremely clean and in a wonderful location. Communication with the host was extremely easy and he was very responsive and prompt with his responses. The home was spacious enough to accompany all six of my friends I would 100% recommend this host and this property to any of my friends or anyone looking to stay in the Arlington or DMV area.

The pictures do not do this house justice. 2 of the 4 bedrooms are in the basement. One of the bedrooms is really an open space with a bed and no privacy. The shower on the main floor and the shower is the basement need work on the floor. The floor has not been cleaned as when we wiped a paper towel across it - it was very dirty. One positive is they have many spices to use.

The location is by far the biggest draw. We had extended family with multiple cars and between the driveway and street parking, it was doable!! For those who know the areas in and around DC, parking is usually the problem. Not here! The owners were very quick to respond and accessible. The layout was a little difficult to interpret in the listing but ultimately worked! There are two bedrooms in the basement, one with out a door, but private since there is a door to the basement. That room had to share a bathroom with the living room bathroom since the downstairs bathroom is behind contained within the game room bedroom. There was plenty of bedding, pillows, and towels for all guest! Again, the price, location and number of beds was perfect for a big family that does not mind camping out for the weekend! We used each bed listed!!

Great experience overall! The manager was super helpful with all questions that I had and helped with any maintence requests or issues. Great location and friendly neighborhood. It does get hot in Arlington over the summers so AC was our best friend. Had some issues getting it to work properly but after a day of figuring it out, it worked great! Recommend this for short term and long term stays

We will stay here again.

This house has it all from a newly stocked kitchen to even a tall bedside fan!! Yes this VRBO is CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN!! Lots of towels, nice sheets, and ample space to relax. My husband and I stayed downstairs because it had a king bed. Had a great night sleep the area was quiet. We liked having the backyard deck, with a fenced in back yard & private parking. Quick easy communication with easy check in and check out. We will definitely rebook this house again.

Spacious, well appointed home, just a few minutes from DC and all its attractions

The home was exactly as described. Located in a quiet residential street, this bright well lit home has everything you need, to make your stay comfortable. Its large kitchen has every sort of cooking utensils and appliances like a coffee maker, toaster & microwave, the bedrooms are well equipped with comfortable bedding and pillows and there is ample storage in every bedroom. The basement is fully finished with 2 large bedrooms, a small kitchenette & a full bathroom..kids would love to make it their hangout. The hosts have thoughtfully provided everything needed for a comfortable stay, including condiments, extra bedding, board games, netflix on every tv, hangers in the closets & even a pet bed & bowls. Everything was thoughtfully placed & all the drawers were labelled, so you did not have to search to find where things were. This home served as our comfortable base for 2 days to attend our son's graduation. Highly recommended. whether you are in DC for a short or longer stay.

Great location but house not clean

This property is in a great location but good parking and an easy check in process. This is a quiet neighborhood. Some construction is ongoing in the street but doesn’t seem to impact the noise levels in the home. That’s where the good portion of the review stops and we started regretting the 900 dollars we had spent on a nights stay. The entry living room has 2 futons and an ancient carpet. The carpet is stained ( attached pictures). The kitchen had sticky floors, the dishwasher was stained, the vessels in the cabinet were dusty. The main living room was comfortable enough but had dusty shelves ; pictures attached). The floors in the lower level were not finished and had tripping hazards. The bathrooms in the lower level were not finished and the shower floor was cracked. ( see pictures). We were looking forward to a quick check in and check out since we had a day tour of DC booked. But this whole experience ended up spoiling our mood for the trip. Highly recommend to not book if you are expecting a clean home.
