The place was clean, very well stocked and just as portrayed in the listing. Great location, very centrally located. Loved the breakfast nook and the view of the canyon.

Stayed for 5 nights. Only location was good. House smelled of old property at all time, Especially when the air condition stopped working on day 3. Bedroom #2 was converted from a den with no air flow, so very stuffy. Sofa bed made loud squeaky noise on every little moves, either when it was closed or pulled out.

Hi, we're surprised about your comments, as we did not receive any messages after your arrival at all. Why did you not tell us about the A/C? We haven't had any issues with the A/C, so perhaps it was a momentary glitch, but as hosts, we rely on our guests to let us know if anything is unsatisfactory. I personally was at the property the day after you left to quality check, there was no stuffy smell, A/C was on 70 and working perfectly. We will definitely check out the sofa bed, it may need a bit of tightening up, if it is starting to squeak. As we stated in the welcome message, "if you don't tell us, we won't know how we can help make your stay better!" - Kubanda Properties

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is very charming! We loved the succulents out front and the canyon out back. There were birds galore and you feel like you are at a sanctuary. The location is great and we were 20 minutes max to Coronado and La Jolla. The split bedroom layout and two bathrooms worked well for our group. There is a W/D shared with the tenant below if you need it. I’d recommend an eye mask if you are sensitive to morning light. The bedrooms were pretty bright, but that’s personal preference. Thanks for a nice stay

Great house in a great location!

This house was in a beautiful neighborhood just a quick Uber from all things San Diego! The house was clean and spacious, the canyon is beautiful, and the check in and check out processes were easy. We would stay here again!

Cute house and neighborhood

The house was beautiful, and the ability to charge my car was much appreciated. Super cute neighborhood! The host was *supremely* helpful in many ways, and I'll look up this property specifically for future trips.

Great Location in San Diego

We really enjoyed our stay in Canyon View! We were here w our 2 grandchildren and we loved being close to the zoo, the beach and walking to shopping & restaurants. The house has been lovingly restored and worked well for us. Gabe, the property manager was responsive to our questions. We enjoyed our stay!

I have been using VRBO for many years and this is probably the best property I have stayed in. First off inside and out it is a very attractive, charming, well kept, clean property. The living room is a good size, nicely furnished, opening up into the kitchen and a charming breakfast nook. A nice setup for a family traveling together as we were. All the kitchen /bath supplies we needed were supplied. We spent a great part of our time at the picnic table and swing on the deck in the rear of the house overlooking a canyon. A great spot to hang out.The location was perfect for folks who like a leisurely walk. It is a residential area just a short (around 15 minutes) walk over a pedestrian bridge to a the lively neighborhood of Hillcrest with many shops, restaurants and Trader Joe’s and Ralph’s. Gabe is a great host… he answers all communications very quickly. All of his check in instructions were clear and timely. He lives in the area and can get to the house easily if necessary. He did come by while we were there to replace a battery in the thermostat. ….a very friendly, pleasant fellow. Thanks Gabe for a great stay.
