Private hideaway home with the best nature views. Short drive to coastal views

Please understand that we are a rural, small-town community. Some tarred roads lead to dirt roads. Honestly, we think it adds to the charm of this location. We have a private dug well and close/drain water from this home for the harsh ME winter months. The water was a bit rusty brown when these guests arrived since it had just been started for the season. The water is now clear, and we have had no complaints since the first 2 guests. We have installed a better water filter. The shower has glass doors and on occasion some water leaks out around the glass/gaskets. We have since used silicone to try and stop the leaks. Again, new construction and often these kind of things needs to be addressed. We don't want a wet floor any more than our guests. We want our camp/home to last for years. Some of the outside grass area had just been hydroseed. So, yes that was a work in progress. Grass doesn't grow overnight, and it was only in one area. It has since grown and to us, is looking quite nice. Again, this property is at the end of a dead-end road. It goes from tar to a dirt drive, all of which is passable with a normal car. We do it often when we don't have guests. The trails are there but aren't marked, since it's just for your pleasure if you care to walk around and explore the property. We love our location and natural surroundings, but we also understand small town living isn't for everyone. Please don't judge our home based solely on this review.
