The pool was great. We enjoyed it being nice and warm because we had some chilly days.Our dogs love the property and the dog friendly beach. The location is perfect. The bikes need a little work, but were usable. The beds were comfortable, but one lacked a fitted sheet so we had to switch. We love the property and are looking forward to bringing our family next year.

Marathon home for lg family

We had a wonderful time. The house is set up perfectly for a large family. The location is perfect. It felt like home away from home. Will definitely stay again.

Excellent place

Excellent location walking distance to the Sombrero beach. The screened-in porch with ceiling fans was perfect for to keep us cooler and shady during the day. We really enjoyed our stay and looking forward to coming again in the future.

Fully deserving of a 5 star rating!!! Thania and the Gator Crew provided timely information and were very accessible and helpful.The property was just as advertised - great location, well furnished with plenty of amenities. Our group of 6 had plenty of room - we used the heated pool every day - some days we used the kayaks and beach bikes that were provided - and on our final day while sitting on the dock we were visited by a young manatee. Thanks for a great vacation week!!!!

We really enjoyed this house. The house was clean and well supplied, the pool area was great too. Wonderful location on the canal. Enjoyed kayaking all around. Short walk to a great beach. Also enjoyed riding around on the bikes too!!!

Had a great stay!! Communication was great! We needed a huge favor, and Thania was more than accommodating to help us out. Would definitely recommend this location for open water and beach access. Home had everything we needed and exceeded our expectations. Tiki bar and lights around the pool area were a hit in the evenings. Screened area was great! We will definitely stay again for our yearly family trip to Marathon.

Winter Getaway

This property offered many amenities that are appreciated by travelers. Loved the location, very close to the beach and lot's of other activities. Loved the pool and tiki bar, also had plenty of beach towels available so did not have to bring any. Home has 4 bedrooms so able to accommodate larger parties. The host was very accessible if we had questions.

Hawks Cay offers similar amenities, dock for boat or yacht, bike rental, beach and great restaurants at $800 per night for a waterfront king bed - off season. Townhomes are over $1,000 per night for 2 bedrooms. So when Cheeseburger Paradise is not available, and it’s only two of us, the favorite getaway is at Hawk’s Cay!

Amazing Spring Break in Marothon

Perfect house for a family. Easily sleeps 8. Great location directly on the canal and only a short walk to Sombrero Beach. Screened-in porch perfect for meals. Fun tiki bar right next to your private pool. Spend the evening making s'mores at the outdoor firepit. Extra bonus with bikes and kayaks on site. Definitely would stay again.

Great stay!

Property is well maintained and in a great location in Marathon. Pool was perfect for the post-beach cool down. The dock was our early morning and late night spot to take in the flora and fauna. We had three iguanas hanging out in the mangroves. A manatee one day and birds galore. Beach is truly a five minute walk, and Publix and eateries, etc. were all in a five minute drive. Communication with Thania was easy and quick. The house made our Keys adventure a trip for the books.

Great Stay

This house is exactly as it appears in the pictures. It was perfect for the 5 of us that went. Would totally book again in the future. The host was amazing and super easy to work with. Was close to grocery stores and lots of eating establishments as well. Super close to a beautiful beach also. Only thing we couldn't find in the house was toilet paper and coffee filters. But that was nothing to really complain about. Stores were close enough to go get our own. Would highly recommend this location to family and friends. Hope to go back again some day!

Great Location!

The rental is in a great location, within walking distance to Sombrero Beach. It's in a safe area to walk and ride bikes. We appreciated having the bikes and kayaks. The owners mother was very accomadating. We shared with her some things missing from the kitchen and the next day she unexpectedly brought those items to us. The only thing that would prevent us from renting this rental again is the temperature lock that was on the AC. The AC could not be turned down below 68 and 6/7 people in our group complained of being uncomfortable at night. We did not contact the owner about this so she may have been willing to adjust.

Great location, perfect for boat owners

This property is beautiful & in an excellent location, especially if you bring a boat. The pool was very nice. The house itself is charming & very clean. The beds are absolutely heavenly, if you’re like me, that matters. Just a few notes: while the kitchen has absolutely any plate, pan or utensil you may need, it has no condiments or coffee. If you’re spending more than a week, you may need to bring trash bags, laundry detergent & toilet paper. ( I really have zero complaints, these are just observations.) On the plus side, they provide nice large beach towels, & adequate bedding. We really enjoyed our time here & will consider it for our next trip to The Keys. 10/10 would absolutely recommend.

A big round of applause & thank you to our local pool contractor, Fazoli Brothers, who in record breaking time, managed to get onsite to address a broken pool heater and provide us with a brand new state of the art upgrade (pool heater/chiller) delivered from Miami and installed for our guests enjoyment!!! We sincerely appreciate your business and all the local service providers who work tirelessly behind the scenes to make things happen!
