Beautiful Location on the InterCoastal

Nice home with wonderful outdoor space to include pool/spa, large patio, deck, and outdoor furniture overlooking the intercoastal. We enjoyed watching the beautiful boats pass by throughout the day. Short walk to the beach and to various restaurants.

Beautiful View & Wonderful Memories

We found Villa Maria exactly as described, very clean, neat and well-stocked, with everything in working order throughout our stay. The European decor was charming. The pool area was incredibly impressive. It’s very large and includes a large dining table set, a sofa with armchairs, loungers and even a covered outdoor day-bed and hammock. The floats provided enabled us to float around the pool for hours admiring the view. It was tremendous to relax there and watch the boats of every size float by. The view of the intracoastal from both inside and outside of the home made Villa Maria an ideal place for us to spend 9 very private, relaxing and pleasant days.

Beautiful views, great location! But a lot of "little things" that add up to create annoyances

When we got to the house we were WOWed with the amazing views and location. The house is clean and well kept, although slightly dated (which didn't bother us since it was a rental). The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, dishes, etc. (but bring your own corkscrew), an there were plenty of linens and towels. The beds are comfy but the pillows are like pancakes (bring your own if possible). The kitchen is tiny and hard to cook in. Also, you are not allowed to turn the AC below 72 degrees. At that temp the house was a little too warm all the time, but especially while cooking! It took hours to cool down after cooking, which is a let down when being able to cook your own meals is one of the reasons to rent a house. The back bedroom was always noticeably warmer, and the fan squeaks a lot, making it hard to sleep. The pool was very buggy, and the filter didn't seem to be doing its job. The toilets run. And for a house thats supposed to accommodate 6 people, the water heater must be very small. We were lucky if 2 people in a row could get a hot shower, let alone 6. The recycling and garbage cans were full when we got there, so we had to put out someone else's trash. Overall, we had a good time and were able to look past most of these little things. We will likely try somewhere else next time unless some improvements are made to this property.

Thank you for your review and your opinion. This is my answer to future vacationer: The pool works perfectly, of course, we have a lot lush and bugs are around everywhere. The pool is clean once a week. the Client must clean the own pool if needed. We have the pool net for a reason.The recycling and garbage bin can be full of trash only because your arrival is not in the day that we could put the trash out. The kitchen is the same size the pictures shows. There is enough space to cook. All the appliance in the kitchen is full size. The air conditioner unit was installed 6 months ago and it cools down the place pretty well. maybe she left the door open and that's why the AC could not work has like she wanted. 72 degrees is pretty cold. We can not permit the AC to be under 72 degrees because the AC can be frozen up. There are extra pillows in the closet. The corkscrew was in one of the kitchen drawers. The house is not dated. The house has a mediterranea style.

Fabulous Stay

Our stay at Sabrinas rental property was excellent, it was everything we hoped it would be and more. Sabrina was great with all of our questions and was fast to respond. The house was clean, well kept and is equipped with everything you need. The back yard was perfect for chilling on the dock and soaking up the sun. My Son ( 5 years) love the great pool. The view is truly amazing! It is such a relaxing place, we had a wonderfull time and we are so grateful to have gotten to stay here. I highly recommend it and definitely want to come back! Great affordable place to call home for a few weeks!

We had a great time at this property. This was our first time using VRBO and weren't sure what to expect. The home was clean, had everything we needed including a ton of towels, sheets, pool stuff and chairs. We had a couple of small issues that were resolved immediately by Sabrina who was very responsive. The neighborhood is not exactly a 5 star area, but the location is unbeatable. We could walk to beach in 5-7 minutes and to grocery store in 10 minutes. We will definitely stay here or at another Sabrina location again.

Lovely stay in a perfect house !

This house is just as beautiful as it is in the pictures, we had a great stay here and enjoyed the house and the outside space. The pool and new spa is great, both the teenagers and adults loved it, and the location by the canal is so nice ! The kitchen has everything you need, loads of pots and pans and very clean, the whole house is very clean ! All bedrooms have very comfortable mattresses and the bedrooms are big. The beach is only a a short walk away, just a coupe fo minutes and its a safe neighborhood ! Manager Sabrina was easy to contact and helped us with every question we had. We will come again, 100% !! Recommend it to every family that loves a great pool and close to the beach and want a clean and nice house !

My overall rating was 3 stars for two things, 1st becuase the first day of the stay we had to wash all the bedding, they were full of dog hair and many of us have allergies. And 2nd because we rent the property for 10 nights and the last day/night we had to go out due the hurricane Issac, it wasn't mandatory evacuation, but the house had to be prepared and all the patio furniture had to be picked up and put in a safe place. Well the most logical thing was to receive one day of refund, but the property owner refused to do it, and it wasn't fair because it wasn't our fault. Thank you for your review. Unfortunately, the storm came during your vacation. Also, the lines were all washed and inspected before client arrival. We do check it carefully and take pictures and video before the client arrive. I spoke with the client on the phone twice, and he never reported it to me. Sabrina

Not the easiest agent to deal with

From the get go there were a few issues. The agent was curt and rude at times. Roof leaked- sink wouldn’t drain and disposal was broken. A repair person was sent after three days for the disposal so it was a bit of a mess until then to use the kitchen. After we left, the agent claimed we falsely had pets on the property and she was deducting dollars from our deposit. The picture of the pool is not accurate and although it states there is a spa, when I questioned the agent about the functions she stated it is only available in the winter. I noted that was not in the ad and she responded that I should read my rental agreement more carefully because it was in there.

Great house for family reunion

We were very comfortable here with ages 3months to 60. Each bedroom has an en-suite bathroom! The Innercoastal provided visual entertainment all day long and watching it was a pleasant way to relax. The pool was a big hit for everybody. The location is perfect for walking to beach, restaurants and grocery store. The Pompano Beach is clean and inviting with wide sidewalks and grassy areas for rest or recreation. We shall return!
