We loved the location and distance between Port St Joe and Apalachicola. The beach view from the deck was perfect and very relaxing. We like the laid back vibe of the area, which wasn’t crowded like many other Florida locations in March. The hosts were very responsive. We had an issue with the grill (which needs replacing) but they came out and got it working for our stay. Beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with what we needed. The coffee maker could be upgraded though! The listing said there were bikes included, but we found none when we arrived. The hosts responded appropriately and provided bikes for free for our stay. We appreciated the response from the hosts. We would come back!

Communication/Heat Issues

Overall the home is simply wonderful in location, design & appointments. We did have access issues due to arriving on a very stormy continuous drenching rainfall that made getting in difficult. Outside night light were not working so a significant delay in finding the key & access is uncovered so we were drenched. Weather certainly not anyones fault & it was also cold at night. Furnace wasn't working but plenty of blanket. I have no complaints now because we were given a discount due to these issues & I'd definitely recommend & stay again.

Loved our stay! House was clean and kitchen was very well stocked. Beds were divinely comfortable. Proximity to the beach was a huge bonus.
