GOLF VORDERSEITE AUF KAP SAN BLAS

Jubiläum liegt direkt am Golf von Mexiko. Alle fünf Schlafzimmer haben einen herrlichen Blick auf den Strand.

Im ersten Stock befinden sich 4 Schlafzimmer. Alle Betten haben Matratzen, Daunenkissen und Bettdecken. Das erste Zimmer ist das Etagenbettzimmer; toll für die Kinder. Die nächsten beiden Zimmer sind Queen-Size-Betten und haben eine herrliche Aussicht! Das vierte Zimmer im ersten Stock verfügt über ein Kingsize-Bett und ein Gemeinschaftsbad zwischen den Zimmern 3 und 4. Es gibt auch ein weiteres Badezimmer für das 1. und 2. Zimmer.

Der zweite Stock dieses Hauses ist spektakulär. Die Aussicht ist atemberaubend mit großen, offenen Fenstern, um alles in sich aufzunehmen. Dies ist der Wohnbereich des Hauses. Es gibt Wohn-, Ess- und Küchenbereiche, die alle weit und offen sind. Im Wohnbereich befindet sich ein großer Flachbildfernseher. Die Küche verfügt über erstklassige Geräte und wunderschöne Schränke. Der beste Teil dieses ganzen Bodens ist die abgeschirmte Veranda vor der Küche mit vielen Sitz- / Schlafmöglichkeiten! Auf dieser Etage befindet sich ein WC.

Die Master-Suite dieses Hauses nimmt den gesamten dritten Stock ein! Dieses Zimmer verfügt über ein Kingsize-Bett und ein wunderschönes Vollbad. Natürlich sind die Aussichten auch hier oben fantastisch!

Great location

We enjoyed our stay. Right on the beach. There was debris from the past hurricane so we had to be careful in the ocean but the home is beautiful and spacious. Perfect for our family of 9 to stay comfortably.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Wonderful home in a GREAT location!Huge den/kitchen area with windows across the middle floor. Beach just steps away. The only downside of this home is that there is literally no water pressure in the (otherwise) spacious top floor bedroom. The owners must address this. When we did get a little water pressure the water never warmed up. This was such an unusual event in what is clearly a five-star home. The screened porch is also a nice respite from the heat (and bugs) where you can enjoy views of both the gorgeous bay AND the beautiful surf. One other (minor) suggestion: more silverware please! With 7 adults and 7 kids, we often ran out of utensils. Also, Coastal Joes has first class service and are always responsive to customers!

More trouble than worth

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Don’t waste your time or money. It looks nice in pictures but the only thing that was great was the view and location. When we arrived at the rental I was blown away by the location, we then went inside and slowly started unraveling all the issues. The upstairs shower and sink is unusable due to the lack of pressure “hardly enough to brush your teeth”. Upstairs had no hot water as well. All bathroom shower heads were filthy and extremely dated “I wouldn’t care so much for it being dated, but they simply did not work well considering”. We noticed immediately that the place smelled like mildew and dog pee “the rug had multiple pee stains”. I also seen mold everywhere. My entire family ended up having headaches, sore throat, etc. by the end of it all. There was no way of getting any ice. no ice maker as advertised, just a hole in the cabinet where it once was. The fridge also had no way of providing any filtered water or ice. We had ants ABSOLUTELY everywhere, even in our beds. Every single pot and pan was disgusting and had left over food on them all. We had to wash every one of them by hand after we found out that the dishwasher didn’t do the trick because of the terrible water pressure. We ended up hand washing all week. We had to clean everywhere before we were satisfied to even unpack our things. It was filthy, and the amount of sand in the home was unreal. To top it all, the washer quit working on the second day there. A repairman was able to fix the issue a day later thankfully!None of the bathroom doors lock and the TVs did not work downstairs until another repairman came out. We ended up not having internet for two days due to more complications. The list of misfortunes our family endured during this trip was an unreasonable amount. We spent a large majority of our vacation troubleshooting these issues, along with letting repairmen in and out of the home the entire week. My entire family feels robb

Totally disappointed in Jubilee! Location was nice on a quiet stretch of the beach. That is where the "good" stopped. Showers were covered in black mildew/mold. Sent someone to clean it but it needed much more. remnants of dog feces on the rug in the family room. A/C filters had not been changed in almost a year, even though place was rented out to tenants with dogs. Upstairs bathroom was a disaster. Something growing on the shower floor, no hot water, very little water pressure. Running the dishwasher was a waste of time as not enough water to clean the dishes. Unit needed a lot of work. Oven was supported by a block of wood on one side and nothing on the other. Dangerous exposed rusty wire in back from a sand dune fence by the beach. Ice maker did not work. Pictures showed wine fridge or ice maker but was just an empty space in the cabinet. Full trash cans were at the street when we arrived so no room for our garbage until next pick up day. Host said we could bring our trash down to the office.. Kitchen trash can had not been cleaned, A/C vents throughout the house covered in black mold/mildew. We ended up leaving a day early as several of us were having breathing problems likely from the mold. We paid a premium for the rental and certainly didn't get what we paid for. Emails to the host have gone unanswered. Definitely don't recommend!

Perhaps one of our favorite traits of this home is the short walk to the beach. It was no task to bring everything down each morning and back up each night. We had guests as young as two years old and as old as 40 and everyone of us so sad to leave. We all had a fantastic time. Definitely recommend this home for your ultimate beach vacation.

I was so disappointed for what you pay for it to not be cape quality. The beach was nice, be factor the wind in when renting this place. Very windy. Will NOT RENT AGAIN. DID NOT LIKE THIS PLACE. NOT GUEST FRIENDLY AT ALL. Beds not that comfortable either. Hate I paid that much for that property. Definitely not worth it. Would not recommend 😕

Wonderful stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved this house. It was perfect for our family’s needs. It does need some cosmetic TLC, it was not a huge deal with us. The beds are very comfortable. The house is in an area where you don’t have to worry with people driving on the beach, which was nice. We loved the screened in porch and under the house, you could sit in a chair out of the sun and see the beach. We have been coming to Cape San Blas for nearly 10 yrs and this was our favorite house yet. We’ll definitely be coming back next yr.

It had great views from both sides. The ice maker came in very handy. All of the bedrooms were a good size. The bunk bed room needs curtains. I enjoyed the steam in the master shower. There are a lot of stairs, since you park under the house and there are three stories to the house. The only real negative was the beach has been washed away from the hurricane and tropical depression, which we were not notified of in advance. There are no stairs to the beach but fortunately the next door neighbors let us us their stairs to get the beach.

Perfect Views from every floor

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the house. There is beautiful gulf view from each floor. The set up is ideal in that all the bedrooms are on one floor with the exception of the master (on the very top floor). The living room, kitchen, porch, and dining area are on the second floor. There are A LOT of steps and they are steep. Guests would benefit from the installation of an elevator and a central vacuum. The kitchen is well stocked with essentials for cooking and dining. The fridge was very clean. Thee living room entertainment system is nicely set up. Garbage bags, dish soap, and beach towels are not provided. Only bathing towels are available and only one per person. There is a porch on the first floor and is only accessible from the outside. The boardwalk to the beach is new and lovely. The private access to the beach is unbeatable. Excellent sunsets. Perfect for small family gatherings.

Disappointing

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: There are a couple of reasons I would not recommend this particular house. It is in rough shape, essentially lots of damages, dirty and dingy. There are broken cabinets, patched work, things off the wall and chipped paint, rusty air vents, rips in curtains, stains on most heavily used furniture, and lots of long dog hair in corners and on rugs. These things are fine in micro doses but when you add it up, it doesn't equate to how much you are paying for this rental. Not much can be done about the layout but there are better options. There are tons of stairs and the main outdoor porch facing the ocean is on the floor with all of the rooms. It should be on the main living area. There is a screened in porch off the main living area but the furniture is dirty and you have obstructed views when sitting in the low chairs.

Only one shower in the house worked, took a lot of cold showers! Closets with no shelves or hanger rods, doors falling off vanities, bathroom sink faucet falling off, boards missing from boardwalk exposing dangerous screws to children(took 3 days for management to respond to request for management to repair), dishwasher did not clean dishes, likely due to plumbing issues, garbage disposal in disrepair. If all is repaired we would recommend this house, in present condition it is not worth the cost! There needs to be better oversight of property conditions by the property management company.

The Best Views!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay! The views are beautiful from every room in the Jubilee. I would say that cleanliness could be better (I am sure good help is hard to find right now) and definitely could use a handyman to fix several minor things throughout the home. The shower in the downstairs master was difficult because one of the knobs is broken so you cant change the water pressure from one shower head to another, so washing long hair was not easy. And the master shower on third floor was either scalding hot (and I do mean SCALDING) or cold. But after several showers, we just dealt with it. Where the home may lack in the "needs to be fixed" area and cleanliness, it makes up for in convenience and the VIEWS! Didn't complain to mgmt, because we didn't want to fuss on vacation. We live a stressful life and came to relax, not complain. So we cleaned ourselves and enjoyed our stay! Management was absolutely GREAT to work with, anytime we did need something or had a question. The smoke detector malfunctioned while we were there and went off throughout the home. They repaired immediately. I will definitely rent from Coastal Joes again!

Reviewer Comments: The location of the house was amazing and the views from the house were amazing! This was our first time to the Cap and loved it. We’ll be back again. The house had many things that needed to be repaired. We couldn’t use one of the showers because a knob what been broken off and the over head shower wouldn’t turn on. It was very difficult to control the temperature of the master bedroom shower. It was either freezing or scolding hot! Neither of the fireplaces (or the fire table) worked and I don’t think that is disclosed anywhere online. Cleaning definitely needs to be addressed. There was a pot on screened in porch that had old oil in it. Many dishes that were not clean. This could be an amazing house with attention given to the repairs needed and cleaning.

This is a beautiful home with phenomenal views. The mattresses are comfortable but there is no bathtub in the home. The kitchen is well equipped and we spent a lot of time on the screened porch.

Highly recommend this property. Perfect location and secluded. It was perfect

We felt like we had our own private beach. The house was awesome but lots of stairs. Fish were biting and we all had a great experience. Highly recommend this property

Overall, we enjoyed Jubilee and the convenience and access to the beach. Good property and hope to stay there again.

In dire need of deep cleaning

The pictures on this site do not reflect how the property looks currently. We were disappointed to see that the upholstered furniture was so dirty we didn’t want to sit on it. The rental company was nice enough to provide us with sheets to cover them with during our stay. We also saw about a dozen roaches within the first 24 hours we were there. They provided us with roach poisoning to put in the cabinets, Raid to spray, and sent Pest Control out. Pest Control said they found droppings from American Roaches and placed poison in the rooms. Thankfully, after Pest Control came we saw several dead roaches the next day in the kitchen and bedrooms, unfortunately several live ones as well. Coastal Joe Vacation Rentals also sent someone to replace lightbulbs that were not working during our stay, but did not fix the one shower sprayer in the bathroom along with the main bathroom lights in the master bathroom. They did send another cleaning company out to re-clean the house, which was great after having killed so many roaches on the floors. It definitely needed bleaching again! The washer quit working on New Year’s Eve and we were unable to get anyone to fix before we left. Someone at the office told us to try and drain it by hitting cancel or turning off the breaker. We tried both but they did not work. I am aware it was a holiday and it’s hard to find someone to complete service calls. Thankfully, our clothes were not locked in there, only their towels. This house is large and has a WONDERFUL view with a great location! However, we feel that it needs to be deep cleaned. Cabinet door facings, furniture, rugs, doors, baseboards, and many other small odd jobs needs to be tended to, such as missing lights, missing tiles, paint chipping in places, rust on fireplaces, musty smelling bunk room, missing hanging rod in bedroom closet, and appliances needing deep cleaning. When you pay this much to rent a home, you expect it to be in a good condition and clean. You shouldn’t have to put out roach bait and fear that you’ll take a roach home in your luggage! We have stayed in this area many times but this was the first time with this rental company. We have never had any issues until this year. We did leave a day early because of cleanliness and lack of a working washing machine which meant no clean towels or clothes. The company and owner did give us a partial refund of about 25%, but that didn’t really make up for our troubles. So disappointed!
