The apartment was clean when I arrived. The bed was made, the dishes were put away, and the towels were ready. The check-in was straightforward. The hostess was easy to get a hold of and responded in a timely manner. It was close to my bus stops and relatively close to the James River. There were historic places to visit in the city.

This was an amazing property. The decor and overall design of the appliance was so unique and pleasing that I was ready to move in permanently. Great location directly across from the Convention Center. Would be perfect if attending a conference or Con. Within walking distance to great bars and restaurants and right next to a wonderful tea shop. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

This was our 2nd time this year stay and we like to continue having this place as our first choice when we come to Richmond. The owners are quick with communications and making sure our stay is the best. Yes, there's quirks and down side to this place, but if you plan ahead like we do, you can look pass them. For all the bad rating, I hope mine shines bright to fix them, because the best way to avoid complaining is planning and reading reviews, not just the profile discriminations. My response to the negatives:1. Parking narrow but free, and in the city I'll take free.So plan for a small to mid size car. Last time we took a small sadan and this time we took our small suv (a VW Taos if you need a size reference) and we still had room to get out of our car and we're not small people. 2. The stairs are old, narrow and a little steep. Last visit I was at my worse pain with waiting to get hip surgery and still did ok, but has expected the stairs after reading reviews and still took my chance with them. This visit I'm 3 month out of a hip replacement and had no problems. So, if stairs are an issue take that in account. 3. No there is no door on the bathroom but if it's just you and your partner it's not a big deal because the layout it's still private. You go down a hall and to the right. No one will see.It's alright though, negative review allows people to not over book the place, which allows us the abilities to come back, lol.I truly love this place.

Great location-able to walk to restaurants and conference/convention sites. Well appointed apartment, overall a comfortable accommodation. Luckily, we have a compact car that fit into the provided parking space. (Could be noted on listing.)

Beautiful historic apartment

We were in town to help our son move to Richmond! We needed to find a place to stay at the last minute and this place was available! It is well-appointed, beautifully decorated and well-curated! The location is across from the convention center and there really is not much else around. Good to note that it is a well-traveled main road and alot of street noise (there is a sleep machine available for use, but it wasn’t loud enough for us so we used our phone!)

The accommodation was very nice - good location. It was nice having a parking space! It is narrow, just be aware of that. Nicely appointed. The bed is comfortable. A/C worked well in the 100 heat.

Gem in a convenient locatiin

The pics are accurate for the property. It’s a pretty place and very conveniently located.The kitchen is fantastic. Soft close cabinets. Lots of dishes and serving ware. I did eat in quite a bit so the kitchen was just what I hoped for. The refrigerator was roomy enough for my stay. The living room and deck have a nice swanky feel. The furnishings are well made and comfortable. I didn’t use the deck as it was hot and sticky outside - hello, summer. It was nice though.The bed was very comfortable. The pillows were in two firmnesses so I was able to pick the right one for me. I loved the blanket, too. There is a ceiling fan in the bedroom! Yay! If more air movement is needed, a second floor fan is available. There is a chest of drawers and a good sized closet as well for longer stays. An iron and ironing board are also provided if one needs to press some attire. The bathroom is well designed. Comfort height vanity and toilet. The penny tile flooring is really pretty. Very clean. The shower worked great with good water pressure. The hair and body products were very nice, too.In fact, the hand soaps, dish soap and washing products were good quality. The property is a gem. I’d gladly stay again when I next visit Richmond. It’s a short walk to the convention center from the property. Lots of restaurants are close by, too.Note, there are steep stairs once entering the property’s door. This would not be suitable if stairs are an issue.

Lovely, with issues.

Clean, comfortable and very well appointed. A few issues: cracked bathroom sink, kitchen fan not working, dented refrigerator. Check out instructions requested you to leave trash in bin located in parking space. There was no bin. On arrival TV had no local or national stations. Manager had this TV issue fixed the next day.

Comfortable & Convenient

We were in town for a wedding and wanted a location that was close to several areas of Richmond. This apartment fit the bill perfectly! Once we found the parking space (be sure to read the instructions) located on a different street than the apartment address, access was easy. The steps are a little narrow and steep, so be prepared. The apartment was comfortable and the white noise machine helped to mask the city noises for better sleeping. Our only issues were that the hot water pressure in the bathroom sink was really low, there are not towel racks in the bathroom (only 1 hook beside the shower) and a box of tissues is an essential that was not provided. We would definitely stay here again!

Ultra Cool Loft Apartment

Beautifully decorated and loved all the brick work. Separate bedroom was nice and comfortable. Shower was perfect, pressure and temp. Extremely clean with all amenities. As an aside, there is a climb upstairs to the apartment, and we did have a bit of luggage.Added bonus was the Commons, a private club where you could eat and hang out. Food was excellent and we ate there twice. Be sure to check it out!!

Well appointed flat for a single or a couple

Very comfortable and well appointed flat perfect for a couple. The manager was very responsive and solved a couple of issues I had after hours without hesitation.Keep in mind the steep stairs to access the flat. It was no major issue for me but something worth to keep in mind.

We really enjoyed our stay at this nice apartment. It has its own entrance and it felt very private. Location is walking distance to Capitol and train station with very nice architecture in downtown of Richmond. Cute adorable stay

My husband and I had an amazing time at our stay. The property manager was very accommodating and a joy. The only 2 draw back is the parking is very narrow, but we took this into consideration and took our small sedan, and the stairs are also narrow. They could potentially be an issue if someone has bad knees or hips. Great location and got to spend time with my college kid and his friends, who lived nearby, comfortably in the apartment.My husband and I hope to make this place a regular when visiting Richmond.
