Umfassen Sie das glückselige Ambiente dieser schicken Gastresidenz. Dieses brandneue Studio-Apartment befindet sich in einem der angesagtesten Viertel von Richmond und verfügt über eine voll ausgestattete Küche, eine vollständig restaurierte traditionelle Richmond-Architektur, neutrale Farbtöne, moderne Möbel, viel Tageslicht und ein wunderschönes Badezimmer.

Der Raum
Dieses gemütliche Studio befindet sich im zweiten Stock eines komplett renovierten Gebäudes (Eileen) aus dem 20. Jahrhundert. Im ersten Stock des Gebäudes befinden sich ein Yoga-Studio und eine Saftbar (Eröffnung Sommer 2020). Beim Betreten des Gebäudes am Eingang zur North 24th Street werden Sie sofort feststellen, dass wir bei der Renovierung keine Kosten gescheut haben. Sobald Sie in der Wohnung sind, lassen Sie die Entspannung beginnen. Die Küche ist voll ausgestattet mit Edelstahlkochgeschirr, das Badezimmer mit gefliester Dusche würde sogar den Vanderbilt neidisch machen und die Frontlader-Waschmaschine und der Frontlader haben verschiedene Ladeeinstellungen für Ihre Bequemlichkeit. Netflix ist auf dem Fernseher verfügbar, sodass Sie sich zurücklehnen und entspannen können, wenn Ihr Tag zu Ende geht.

Zusätzliche Hinweise: Dieses Studio-Apartment ist ca. 240 m² groß und verfügt über ein ausziehbares Sofa. Aber dieses Sofa ist bequemer als jedes Hotelbett, auf dem Sie schlafen werden (wir haben den Ferrari mit Schlafsofas gekauft!) und der Raum wurde mit den Oberflächen renoviert, die Sie nur in High-End-Hotels finden! 2 Personen können hier auch für längere Zeit sehr bequem übernachten.

Overall the stay was fine. Slight hiccups with some cleaning items but generally okay. FoldOut sofa bed needs a bit of maintenance. Make sure to use the blackout blinds as the alleyway lighting is bright.

This little condo had everything I needed to enjoy my first trip to Richmond. Well appointed, spotlessly clean, great a/c. I enjoyed the wine and the water and coffee was a very thoughtful gesture. I am coming back to the show next year and will book at the Eileen. Parking was never an issue, so don’t worry about venturing out. In walking distance of great restaurants and some interesting historical sites.

Great Little Studio for Home Base

The listing is totally accurate; this is a small studio! But as other reviews mention, they use the space very well. We kept the sleeper sofa pulled out the whole time we were there and were able to navigate the room just fine. (We stayed for a week.) The renovation was done thoughtfully and well, not a shoddy flip, and everything was very clean and well-functioning. Location is unbeatable--walkable to multiple excellent restaurants (including an ice cream parlor right downstairs), sight-seeing destinations, and parks with fantastic views of the river and the city. The biggest challenge was sharing a bathroom in such close quarters, but you'd have the same issue in a hotel room and this was miles more charming.

AMAZING LOCATION!

This is by far the best location in Richmond, in my opinion. The property itself is fabulous! The sleeper sofa is wonderful. You walk outside and all around you are places to eat and shop. Church Hill historic district is by far etched in my heart after this stay.

Great place. Super clean! Parking was no problem. Our family used 3 of the apartments on this hall in a beautifully renovated old building and it was fun to travel this way. Much better than a hotel but provided more privacy than renting a house.

The space was clean and as described in the posting. The studio was located in a great location. There were lots of good restaurants nearby and a yoga studio below. Check-in and check-out were seamless. Communication from the host was excellent. I highly recommend it.

This building is a local gem with a captivating history. It was built around 1925 in Richmond’s oldest neighborhood, Church Hill. The first business located here was a dry goods & notions store. It has since been everything from a record store to a pool parlor. In 2018, after being abandoned for 8 years, we began the process of transforming her in to Church Hill’s mini boutique hotel, Eileen.

The renovation process was challenging but well worth it. After years of neglect, the foundation started sinking into the ground and the building developed a lean. It took two years to bring her back into action. Our team restored the foundation and preserved her historic charm. We added modern, luxe finishes that are impossible not to love. Despite all of that rehabilitation, the building held onto the tilt that she developed over the years, and that’s why we call her Eileen.

Eileen is a beauty. She now houses four separate vacation rentals, a juice bar, and a yoga studio. It’s the perfect place to relax, restore, and explore. We relish in hosting guests in such unique spaces, where each of you can add to the rich, ongoing history of Eileen.
