Great Cabin walking distance to Bear Mountain!

We had a great time at this beautiful cabin. Perfectly clean, comfortable beds, and plenty of room. We walked to Bear Mountain for snowboarding, which was really nice since parking was crazy on this busy holiday weekend. We would definitely stay here again and recommend others to as well!

Wonderful Stat!

I cannot say enough about how pleased we were with this property. The owners have thought of everything! The property is updated, very clean and spacious. Gorgeous views, and an easy walk to the lift at Bear Mountain. This property will be first on our list next time we return to Big Bear.

Annual Magee/Malfara Vacation

We head up to Big Bear every year with our family and neighbors. This home was so perfect for our stay, with plenty of rooms for everyone. We have stayed at quite a few homes and this one was definitely one of our favorites!! The thunder storm that we had one day had us cozy watching movies and playing down in the fun game room! We made most of our meals at the home and always found what we needed! This was the first time that we did not have to bother our hosts for anything, everything was perfect!! Thank you for hosting us in this beautiful home and we look forward to seeing you again next year!!

Feels like home

This was our second stay at Kristine and Scottā€™s cabin in Big Bear Lake. We stayed for 5 nights. Simple gestures such as a snack basket and sā€™mores ingredients were very much appreciated. Having a basement entertainment room was perfect with 6 teens. We also loved dining together on the patio each night. There was so much to do in the cabin and in the surrounding area. Examples of things we did: hot tub at the cabin, board games after dinner, played golf at the course down the hill, bowling and video games at the local bowling alley, gondola ride at the off season ski lodge, walking around/shopping in the cute village, mineshaft coaster and soaring eagle at Alpine Slide at Magic Mountain. We had a couple of small issues while at the cabin that were addressed within minutes by Kristine and Scott. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

My wife and I had a wonderful time this weekend up at big bearā€™s mountain hideaway. The host was very communicative and promptly answered any questions and concerns. The house is beautiful with many amenities. Everything worked well and was very comfortable. Even though the power went down Saturday morning, in all of big bear, it still did not affect our vacation. The hosts have done a very good job of creating a luxurious leisurely place to relax. It is also very close to Bear Mountain for the winter months for those that ski. We will definitely be going back to this property. Canā€™t speak highly enough about how good of a job they have done to create the space. You will not be disappointed with this property.

Perfect House with tons of amenities!!

So AMAZING!!!! We booked a very last min trip to get out of AZ for fall break and found this amazing cabin in the woods. It was everything we wanted plus more!!! We found ourselves wanting to stay and hang at the house more than go out. We absolutely loved the game room. Our kids lived it up!! lol The kitchen had everything we needed to cook yummy meals. We had groceries delivered to the house and awesome Gluten Free pizza delivered as well. The house is HUGE and so beautifully designed and decorated. The living room is so cozy and the fireplace was absolutely perfect!! We used the hot tub and fire pit daily. It was so nice to feel so away from everything but be just minutes from anything you could need!!! Downtown was so dang cute and we shopped till we dropped. lol Our kids are 11, 7, and 3 and all are begging to go back. What an unbelievable home to go to get away from everything. The WIFI works amazing and so easy to log onto. Each room was so cozy and had the best fuzzy comforters on every bed. We loved being able to use the garage and had such an easy check in and out. Such incredible hosts that have thought of everything and were so quick to respond to any questions. We can't wait to go back!!

One word describes this placeā€¦.amazing!!! I researched a ton trying to plan a nice trip to Big Bear with my wife and 3 kids. This place more than delivered. Kristine and Scott are excellent hosts. It was our first stay and they made everything so easy for us our first stay. The cabin itself is in a great location. Once inside the real fun begins the second you open the front door. Beautifully decorated from top to bottom. It has an excellent modern cabin vibe which we really liked. What was most important to us was the kids reaction and enjoyment. They loved every second we were there, which made it worth every penny. From the awesome game room, where we spent a lot of time, to the spa, to the comfortable bedding in each room. The layout of the cabin was enjoyable. Three levels with the game room the lowest level. A few bedrooms the mid floor and the family room/ kitchen the top. Most importantly the wife test was passed and exceeded. My wife is a clean freak and that was by far the most important part of her experience. She was super happy with how spotless the cabin was. Very well maintained. This place did not disappoint. If you are searching for a cabin look no further than this wonderful place. I could go on much longer but I think Iā€™ve said enough! We will be back!!

Amazing Stay

We loved our stay at Kristine And Scott's cabin! This was definitely on the higher end price wise than what I'm usually booking in Big Bear, but as it was a rare family trip, I decided to splurge a bit. You definitely get what you pay for here. The place was huge and very comfortable. Kristine and Scott were always very prompt in their response to any of my questions. The game room was a lot of fun and definitely a hit for the whole family. We ended up spending a lot of our time down there. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean and tidy for our arrival. It was perfect for our family of five since we all got our own rooms and could sleep comfortably. The welcome snacks were a nice touch and something we didn't expect, but definitely made us feel welcome. Location can't be beat, about 5 minutes to Bear Mountain and Big Bear Village for some good food. Overall this was probably my best experience in Big Bear and will definitely want to come back in the future.

Perfect Vacation!!

We loved our stay at this stunning house. Beautiful, clean, and well-stocked with everything we needed. And SO CLOSE to the slopes we couldnā€™t believe it. The place is so spacious and well-designed - we especially enjoyed the beautiful views, the fireplace, comfy beds, amazing showers, and the hot tub. The kids loved the game room, which has arcade games, shuffleboard, and multiple gaming systems - and we also took advantage of the board game selection. Kristine and Scott made everything easy and were super-quick to respond to any questions. Canā€™t wait to come back for another visit!

Family Friendly Excellent Location

We came to ski, and the location couldnā€™t be beat. We were a VERY short drive to the slopes, and restaurants. The girls (4 and 6) enjoyed watching their favorite shows in their bunk beds, such a treat!! The house was nicely remodeled, and not too ā€œcabin-yā€. The game room was utilized every night, and the kids even went ā€œswimmingā€ in the spa. Most everything we needed was provided. The owners were very responsive when we needed them, or had any questions or concerns about the property. Thank you for a fantastic vacation; we will definitely book again.

Wonderful family ski trip

Beautiful home, lovely views, close to Bear Mountain, easy drive to the town, clean, and very nicely furnished. Our 5 boys loved the game room downstairs, and the adults enjoyed the spacious living room and fireplace upstairs. The multiple levels of decks wrapping the house provided access to views of the mountains and the outdoor hot tub was greatly appreciated after long days of skiing, There were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone to be comfortable.. The owners even decorated for Christmas and left us an awesome gift basket full of treats to enjoy. Owners were very pleasant and easy to communicate with. I had to do some remote work while we were on vacation, but the house had great wifi and connectivity was never an issue. The quick ride down the road to Bear Mountain ski resort made it easy for me to shuttle the rest of our group that was skiing with a traffic-free drop off. I was even able to drive back down after my work day was finished and come join everyone for lunch & drinks. We stayed here the week before Christmas with 3 generations of family and this home was the perfect place for us to come together and celebrate the holidays. We really enjoyed our stay.

The house seems practically new (or newly renovated) and yes, it's a 5 minute walk to the slopes.

Fabulous house and great location!

The house was beautiful, clean and well thought out. The hosts couldnā€™t have been nicer or more helpful, and even left us treats for when we arrived. We were very close to the ski slopes and even walked there one day! We had a wonderful and memorable family vacation here and we highly recommend!

Generous hosts, an amazing family stay!

We visited Big Bear as a large family, and this home had something for everyone. The grandkids had a great time in the game room, and the parents and grandparents enjoyed all the amenities the hosts thought of. Enjoying this home with fresh fallen snow was a dream. Sā€™mores over the fire pit, a soak in the hot tub, delicious coffee and fresh modern decor makes this home a perfect place to create family memories. What gracious hosts! I wouldnā€™t hesitate to book this rental for a large group- the bedrooms on two different floors allowed for plenty of space and privacy when needed. Weā€™d love to come again.
