Parking: Please plan as you only have ONE PARKING SPOT. If you park on the street please check the city website for parking bans during the winter time or contact us for more information.

Property Cleanliness Please leave the property in a reasonable state. Excessive rubbish or messes may result in an extra cleaning fee.
Kitchen & Cooking Please clean up after using the kitchen. Ensure all dishes are washed, and dispose of food waste properly.
Linens & Stains We provide fresh, white linens for your stay. To help us maintain their quality, please:
- Remove makeup before going to bed. Makeup stains (especially foundation and mascara) can be difficult to remove. - Avoid placing dirty luggage, food, or drinks on the bedding.
Ensure pets (if permitted) do not get on the bed if their paws are dirty. Stained linens will incur a replacement fee. If sheets, pillowcases, or towels are excessively stained and cannot be restored, a charge will apply.
Eviction Policy Any violation of these house rules may result in eviction and a penalty fee of a minimum of $150. We have noise monitoring devices that track volume levels but do not record conversations. A violation of house rules may result in immediate termination of your stay without a refund.

This property is in a quiet neighborhood. It was centrally located for everything we had planned. The house and property is very well kept and very cozy. There are plenty food options within 10 minutes of the house. If we go back to Winnipeg, this would be are go to rental.

Nice stay in a cute neighbourhood
Very clean and bright space; all bedrooms were in the basement but didnt feel cramped. Nice kitchen and eating area.The code for the door didnt work, but physical keys were available after messaging the host. We would stay here again. Great neighbourhood-- close to Thermea and 'Little Sister Coffee Maker' is just down the street.

The amenities can definitely use an improvement. The photos showed the place a lot nicer than it actually is. It is a shared space which was not mentioned in the post - there were guests staying above us which creates unwelcome noise. Additionally, the rooms are in the basement of the house which is fine but should be noted for transparency. The cleanliness of the space was below average. The floors were sticky and seemed to have a film on them. The mattresses were extremely uncomfortable. Finally, it was snowing in Winnipeg and I could not find a shovel to clear the walkways.

Lovely Lord Roberts apartment
The details for the rental were clear and the entry process was smooth. (Pay attention to the instruction to pull the door to you as you input the code.) the kitchen is an open space, well-stocked with utensils and a good space. That there are three bathrooms was very convenient for us, as we had both older people and kids. The bedrooms are very nice and the linens good quality. The location worked really well for us, with easy access to downtown, the Forks, etc. Tip: the Fort Rouge Leisure Centre is minutes away and has a decent, if older gym, that charges only 6.45 for a drop-in (compared to over 25 at GoodLife.)

Stayed for a weekend in Mar 2026. The property was in a great location and pet friendly. Check-in was at 4:00 and the cleaning crew was hanging out in our VRBO watching TV 30 minutes after the check-in time waiting for a ride. We found the cleaning they did is more of a tidy vs actual cleaning. There were items in the washer when we showed up and after we checked in, we grabbed dinner and came back and the items were gone. Someone entered the property while we were out and our dogs were there. Our code to the property stopped working and had to utilize the app messenger to get help. There was a lockbox key we were able to use the rest of the stay.Pros:-Great location-Pet Friendly-Quick communication-Updated property but starting to ageItems to note:-There were guests staying above us that created lots of noise.-Beds were extremely uncomfortable and could feel the springs.-One of the bed frames is broken. Thankfully we weren't using all 3 beds and only one of them otherwise that would have been a problem.-Stools are different than in pictures and couch is looking rough.-Bedrooms are in the basement.-Only shampoo was provided.-No shovel if it is snowing.-Had to pay on a separate site than VRBO - guest-portal.hostaway.com
