Great first time RV experience!

We really enjoyed our short stay in Surfside and in this RV. The place was clean, had everything we needed and is easy 3 minute walk to the beach. The RV, neighborhood, beach and jetty were clean, relaxed and so close to good food like the Seahorse which we enjoyed twice on our visit. Surfside is a great place for a relaxed beach vacation & this RV is a nice place to return to after a day at the beach.

Quaint and cozy but clean and spacious. Plenty of storage and amenities including a wagon for transport to the beach (just a block away). The refrigerator was bigger than expected.What stood out most was the hospitality. All of my questions were answered immediately and kindly. There was even a welcome gift!Highly Recommend!

A great place for a quick getaway.

We had a lot of fun, and the beach really is a 3-minute walk from here. Our only complaints are: 1) we were not aware before we arrived that the water in the trailer is not drinkable, and 2) the AC could not keep up with the hot summer days. We would recommend this to people who can live with those limitations.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re happy to hear that you and your family enjoyed the beach and had a good time. We are sorry to hear about your concerns with the water. The water issue is related to the Surfside Beach municipal system and not the RV itself, which is why we provide a complimentary gallon of drinking water and inform our guests in advance. We will also be adding a note about this in the RV description. Regarding the air conditioning, we had it serviced and added Freon, and it is now cooling properly. We appreciate your comments, will take them into consideration, and hope you visit us again in the future.

RV was perfect! It was the perfect size for us. It was very clean and everything looked brand new. We were very close to the beach and friends who were also spending the weekend. I definitely recommend staying here.

Super cute travel trailer literally less than a two minute walk from the little beach next to the jetty, which was fantastic. Great for first time campers, albeit a bit small for two teenagers, me, and the dog. But - it had most everything we needed and it was comfortable with the a/c. The owners were very responsive and accommodating, the owner of the RV park was very sweet. I would definitely recommend this spot to anyone wanting a quick getaway. Perfect for surfers, sunbathers, and fishermen alike.

Communication with owners was excellent!! Tesponded in minutes, effectivelybdid whatbthe said promptly. I couldn't have asked for better.Accommodations were as advertised. Clean, effcient. After a fe minor questions, which theybresoonded to immediately, everything was gre. Had a great time. RV was perfect for me, pwnwmers even met me at a local gas station so i couldnfollow them there when i got lost (my fault). 10 out of 10, would use any of their proprerties again!

Spring break

We really enjoyed our stay! The property was clean, check-in was easy, and the host was very responsive. The beach was nice and never crowded. While the town itself is quiet with not much to do besides fishing or enjoying the beach, that’s actually part of the charm. It’s not overly touristy, so you can truly relax and take in the peaceful surroundings without the hustle and bustle. Perfect spot for a low-key getaway. Beach was within walking distance.

Nice weekend getaway!!

We were not sure what to expect, having never stayed in an RV before. We had a terrific stay and enjoyed the convenience of being close to the beach. We also appreciated the there was not a minimum number of nights required and that the cost was manageable. The RV was super cute and comfortable! We will definitely return!

Very fun and interesting area.

The RV's owners did a very nice job equipping the RV with everything needed for living in it. I stayed for a month and had everything I needed. Austin's landing is very near the jetty of Freeport, TX and ship watching was a fun winter time activity for me. Great access to beaches, nearby restaurants and mainland shopping. The RV park itself was very quiet and afforded peaceful living in the park.

Great location and clean space!

It was perfect for our family and our pup, the rv park is clean and quiet and it’s only a block from the beach. The house outside was a huge life saver and it was stocked with all items necessary for cooking. Just bring our own spices and seasonings. The rv is spacious enough and was very clean upon arrival. Check in was easy and the AC worked very well

Inexpensive getaway near the water

Great hosts. Moderately priced. One block from the beach. Less than a mile to two different restaurant/bars. The RV was clean and very accommodating. (You need to bring water to drink/cook with). We had an amazing 6 year anniversary here.

Cute homelike feeling

Owners were very accommodating to my family and I throughout the entire stay, and prior as well. Immediately upon arriving, we received that homelike feeling with the RV being setup with a large outdoor seating area with plants, and the dog fence setup. Literally a block away from the beach!!! My absolute MUST is make sure you apply insect repellent! This will make your stay even better! Overall, 8/10 and only a deviation due to mosquitos

Close to fishing spots

Overall our stay was pretty good. Cute little RV super close to the beach and fishing spots. There was a hiccup at the very beginning of our stay, but was remedied super quick. It did take the refrigerator/freezer over 12 hours to get to a freeze point in the freezer and cool sufficiently in the frig department. Other than that it was just what we expected and needed. Area was quiet with respectful neighbors.

Perfect Affordable Beach Stay

This RV was the PERFECT, and very affordable, place for our family to stay at the beach. It was very spacious and clean! And the owners provide PLENTY of clean towels and extra bedding! The location is perfect too! It’s about a mile from the main bridge into the island, and a half block distance from beach access. It’s also located about a block away from Jetty Park which is a really neat spot that has a splash pad and playground for kids, and a long walkway into the ocean where lots of people fish. There are 2 Roku TVs that already have some streaming apps on them (Netflix, Disney, YouTube…etc), and the owners have their own wifi router with secure password so you don’t have to worry about using unsecure wifi. The RV has 2 air conditioning units which cools the camper very well. The outside shower wand was VERY handy for washing off our feet after walking on the beach, as well as washing off our daughter’s beach toys at the end of our trip. The owners also provide an ice maker and an outside grill, but we didn’t use those. What we did us and really appreciated was the beach chairs and wagon! The wagon is from Academy and has the big wheels so it makes it easier to pull to the beach! The chairs were very comfortable and had attached cup holder trays which came in handy on the beach. Also, the owners seem to really care! We were evacuated bc of a hurricane and they wanted to make sure we got out safely and got home safely.
